Okay so I got this idea earlier from…I don't even remember. BUT I'll explain what I mean. Pick like two or three characters of yours and put there names like the following:

Avani:
Silas:
Evie:
Autist:

Like that! Okay so once you've done that ^^^ You move to the next step by putting a song that practically describes them. Hmmm, give me a second and I'll do that…

Mallory: Sweet but Psycho (Ava Max)
Cedric: Toxic (Britney Spears)
Autist: Natural (Imagine Dragons)
Avani: You Can't Stop the Girl (Bebe Rexa)

alright so a lot of my character are either superheros or have hero-like counterparts so im gonna do a song for their everyday personality/vibe and then one that fits their super persona

I actually do something related to this - I give my story a soundtrack like I would for a film. Scenes and chapters always have a song associated with them, and my characters and their relationships have recurring themes or motifs that play an important role in the story.

Same here. I have like 10 Spotify playlists just dedicated to books lol
