Hey, everyone!
So, in my story, the main character is this guy who is mostly quiet and is okay with following the leader, except when he knows things are going really bad. Then he comes up with a plan of his own and he’s really stubborn, just plowing through anything in his way. He’s brave and impulsive, but in a collected way, if that makes sense? He’s really sweet and dorky, and I’m in love with him myself :)
I’m debating who he should fall in love with.
There’s one girl who he’s known pretty much his whole life AS FRIENDS, but as they grow older, there’s a little spark of interest between the two of them.
She’s very much like him, just she doesn’t keep to herself most of the time. She’s loud and proud, and when she talks, people listen, because she just has that effect. She’s less stubborn about her ideas, too. She’s good at listening and compromising. Flaws: she almost always refuses to accept help from people. Her own knight in shining armour, sort of. She has a fiery attitude!
The other option is a more gentle girl who likes to sing to herself and she enjoys fixing broken planes & cars & engines, etc. (The story takes place in a world with advanced technology.) Flaws: she has lots of self doubt and is hesitant about nearly everything.
They meet when they’re about fourteen, and I think he immediately kind of likes her, but she doesn’t really like him back. If they were to get together, she’d realize how much she looked forwards to seeing him each day, how she just can’t ever peel her eyes off of him, etc. etc. And in the end they’d get together.
Opinions? Changes that should be made? Thanks!
