Anybody feel free to start!
The young kitsune shivers in the cold night air. Her bright orange hair, in a pixie cut, too short to keep her human ears warm. Her orange fox ears, each tipped black, lay flat against her head. Her matching fox tail is curled around her. Her cargo jeans and bright green t-shirt simply not enough to keep her warm on a cold night like this.
Seeing his little sister so cold was debilitating to him. He wrapped his arms and tail around her to try and provide warmth. It was his fault they were in this situation anyway. As he thought about the events of the past week a single cold tear ran down his cheek.
"Miss?" She opens her eyes again, blinking. Where was she? it was frigid out, but now she was warm. "Hello? Are you awake–oh, goodie, you are. Hi!" A bright, happy voice pierces her muddy disorientation. She sits up, groaning.
"Where am I?"
"You collapsed right in front of the bakery! So I thought I'd haul you in. Me and the baker are besties! Right, Marco?"
"Dizzy, I'm two seconds from killing you right now. There's a KITSUNE IN MY BAKERY. You know they are… well… discriminated against."
"Of course I do, silly… did you forget?"
"Sorry, your human ears keep throwing me off…"
The kitsune jolts up, staring into the friendly face of a girl with pale skin and eyes shining silver like the moonlight. "I'm Dessirae, but just call me Dizzy, I hate my name!" She grins, and a single canine seems a bit too long. "What's your name, Miss?" She came to her senses to see a bright bakery with warm, soothing, smoky cream walls and rows upon rows of tasty treats. She saw the annoyed looking redhead behind the counter whose name was evidently Marco, and the overwhelming face of the rather cute girl, same age as her, in front of her. "Hello? Your name?"
"Uh~… I-i'm… T-Taika…" She manages out awkwardly.
Lee Hyori swept the front steps of her house–if you could even call it that. The warehouse she lived in was old, and covered with graffiti. As colorful as her "house" was, the mood was still low. With no reason to be outside other than to get away from the hustle and bustle inside, she scanned the lonely street for any signs of life. As she swept, a lock or two of her black hair fell into her face. She pushed them back with a frustrated, "Aish."
(A frick, the story's gone without me…nvm. ^~^;)
"O-oh.." She uttered her first words to these strangers. Then a sudden flash of panic went through her. Where was her brother? "WHERE'S MY BROTHER?" The kitsune involuntarily shouted. "I left him and I told him I'd be back and then I got lost…" The kitsune hated blubbering but she couldn't handle it anymore. The hooded girl's face softened.
"We'll find him. How about we look you up in the directory? What's your name?"
Why did the directory sound menacing? Why couldn't she remember? Ah, whatever.
"My name is Kurin." The girl's face shifted, she looked alarmed.
"Kurin Grace?"
"Yes."
"Oh. Oh. That's… that's awful. You need to get out of this town." Sympathy and empathy overtook the girl's features– heck, she even looked kind of cute when she was concerned. "Lets find your brother."
(oops Taika works too ^^)
(me too, apparently… I thought this was a "roleplay", not a "continue the story"… Er-, sorry if that sounded rude.)
(sits calmly in the corner, awaiting the perfect moment to join in)
(Wait maybe I can bring you back in?)
Dizzy grabbed her phonne from the counter, and after exchanging tentative glances with Marco, called a number.
"Hey? Lee? We may need your assistance on this."
"Are you going to turn me in?" The kitsune asked (Kurin or Taika IDK), resolved, somber.
Marco looked at her and grinned. "Of course not. That crazy cat might even get you out of this mess."
Dizzy hung up, looking offended. "It's not 'cat', it's WOLF." And with that, after looking around to make sure no one was watching, she flipped down her hood to reveal moon-light bright bluish platinum silver hair that was absolutely beautiful.
And suddenly, the kitsune knew she was in good hands. Moonlight was always a good partner– gave you light but disguised you.
oopsie sorry I got carried away lol continue
someone else continue lol bring it back to 'general roleplay' not 'story'
(ooh, idea, can I be someone who works with giving temporary housing to homeless of any race, thus the big warehouse! Just call me in if you need me. XD)
(Lol sure you can assist maybe in getting this kitsune out of whatever trouble she's in)
(Can someone else plz write XD)
(Okay, I will. I didn't notice that "Lee" was meant for me, sorry. [Btw, her name is Korean, so the name "Lee" is actually her last name. "Hyori" is her first name. ;D])
Answering the receiver on the first ring, Hyori held the rustic receiver up to her ear. "Marco, you're aware that this is the emergency hotline, right? This better be good, and not some silly prank about calzones again."
"Uh… okay… I promise it's not that this time" Marco said quietly, stealing another glance at… (lets call her…) Taika. Taika Grace was wanted, and what had happened to her was devastating. "Check the news for Taika Grace, if you can. I know your electronics are ancient" Marco teased.
(Oops I didn't realize ok good to know)
(I'm just so confused…)
Taika's ears lay flat as she stares at the strangers.
(Same XD should we just make this a continue the story bc it kind of turned into that sorry ;-;)
"Hahah…wait, Taika…Grace you said? Hold on, lemme get someone from Books to check it out." Hyori whispered something to the attendant next to her, and he bounded down the stairs. Returning to the phone, she said, "Okay, I've got someone on it right now. Can you give me any description of what she looks like? Will they be easy to disguise, or no?"
(I have no clue. XD I absolutely love roleplays, but without a good plot it kinda falls apart. XD)
EDIT: (For the sake of simplicity, let's try to not add dialogue for other people's characters unless absolutely necessary. That way it doesn't turn into a weird and inconsistent mess. XD)
(XD Okay well whatever you guys decide I'm just going to contribute this last thing and then you guys can shift it back onto role play or continue as a story or something because I should probably be getting ready to sleep)
"Well, she's petite, but has a rather bushy tail…" Dizzy looked at the confused Taika and resisted the urge to giggle. She looked innocent, like a dandelion out of place. "And she's got the normal fox look, with sunset highlights." She whispered this to Marco, who quickly said it to Hyori.
Hyori inhaled through her teeth in a contemplative manner. "Well, that doesn't sound too bad. We had a nine-tails recently, ya know–that was one hell of a day. How soon do you want extraction? I could send a team over in…" trailing off, Hyori glanced back at the second attendant, who held up a small note written on a piece of paper, turning as quickly as she could, she continued, "ten to fifteen minutes. Seven, if we push it."
