Just a note, if you see the words "her power" or "her ability" in there without any precursor, she has the power of necromancy and there wasn't a super good place to put it.

What the f@#* is periwinkle? That is the funniest word I have heard all year. Lol just took me by surprise. So she gets short hair as a statement? She seems like she just aims to annoy. No offence I like the rest of her character but a lot of people find that as a negative. Ya know how teen angst movies go. So I reckon she should do short hair because she thinks she looks good in it and she likes it not cause it's just the opposite of what someone else says. Also if she does that wouldn't she jump at politics? Cause she has short hair because of it's "The social stigma" so wouldn't politics be up her alley?

I like her powers they seem cool and untamed I'm writing characters like that so you've done well in the whole no control department I can see how her flaws can make her see society differently as well.

Also if her dad didn't let her get a job how far did that go. Is she allowed outside? To casually hang out with friends? Is there a curfew? How was she schooled?
Those are my thoughts hope it helps in some way.

Ok so lemme get this out of the way before I move on to the critique: I LOVE PERIWINKLE and nobody ever knows what it is so it makes my happy that someone else likes it and I don't have to explain what it is.
That being said, critique:
-maybe look into the 16 personality types, that will keep her character more focused and her traits will link with each other if that makes sense
-a bit more on her relationship with her family? Or are they not relevant to the story?
Other than those minor things, I really liker her character!!

@Jacque thank you!! I'm still working on fleshing out most of them. An investigative artist (I'm not actually sure if that's an actual term lol) is something that used to be popular during the rise of spiritualism and before cameras were convenient. They would go to a "performance" like a seance or something like that, and then they would sketch out the room, and sometimes the actual event, as truthfully as possible to show there weren't any tricks or hoaxes going on to people who weren't there to witness it themselves, so it would be helpful to people investigating spiritualists who weren't able to go see the event themselves, or just to provide evidence to a case.

@Periwinkle I love periwinkle too ;) thanks for the input! Putting in her relationship to her family is a really good idea because while I definitely have it in my head I kinda forget nobody else knows the storyline lolll
