Two of my main characters are making promises to each other on a post it note, can anyone give me an idea or examples of some promises?

What sort of promises are you looking for - something ooey gooey mushy, or something you'd promise to a friend? Either way, you could probably use an inside joke between the two of them ("I promise never to bring up the Goat Thing", "promise to love you long time", etc.), something to reinforce a fear one of the characters has ("I promise to always listen to you and consider your opinion" if one feels like they're never listened to, "I promise never to make fun of your height" if one is touchy about the subject, etc.), or just general promises ("I promise to love you for as long as I'm able", "I promise to stick by your side no matter what", etc.). Hope some of this rambling helps! ^^;
