Does anyone have any tips or ways or examples of naming superheroes? This has been giving me a lot of trouble.

TBH same. I have no idea what to name one of my main OC's for my story and she's a superhero. It's hard finding a name that doesn't sound extremely cliche XD

I don’t really have ‘superheroes’, persay, but I have some characters with powers. I just call them by their names: Leah Katerina and Pepper.

My character can control light and air. For one of my characters who's kinda like an anti-hero I made her "hero" name Vanta like the black and I was pretty proud of that. But its harder thinking of things that relate to air and light

There'd three ways I've named my heroes in the past. 1)Association: "Green Lantern" "Batman", you know, their power or origination gives the name. 2)The Press: "Superman" "Iron Man", the number of times the media gives a name that they think matches, whether it's corny, cheesy, or outrageous, it happens a lot in heroes. 3) Self Choice: "Deadpool" "Punisher", the hero chooses their own name and gives it to the media to use, whether through interview or snide comment, or even just a calling card. Hope this helps!

For me I name my superheroes something cliche like wind man but write in another language for instance wind man in Czech is Vêtrník. That's a bad example but I bet you could find some cool ones.
