BIRD'S HOLLOW BONES DON'T MAKE THEM LIGHTER. I know, crazy, but I discovered this recently on a research frenzy. Look it up, the top results immediately say so. For a semi-accurate summary if you don't want to fact check me, their bones ARE hollow, but that doesn't make them lighter, it helps with efficient gas exchange (something like that). Their bones are extra strong so they don't break, so that's why it doesn't affect their weight. Flying birds are still about the same weight as similarly sized mammals. Basically, if your character has hollow bones to help them fly, that does NOT make them lighter! They would still be of normal human weight unless magic is in play.
