and optionally, explain why these songs fit your character(s)!
for one of my ocs, it'd be
- running up that hill by kate bush
- caught a lite sneeze by tori amos
- evidence by tara mclean
- i still do by the cranberries
- her majesty II by the green child
- seven wonders by fleetwood mac
- into dust by mazzy star
because of how closely the lyrics tie in with her history as a cult survivor and the struggle she faces with feeling estranged from the world she was denied of being part of for so long
For Aubree
• For You by James TW because she finally found the reason she was fighting for
•Would You Be So Kind by Dodie Clark because she fell for Milo and couldn't find a way for him to love her back
•Back Home by Andy Grammar because she found her home in friends and family even when everything was a mess
• Breakaway by Kelly Clarkson because she found her wings
•People Like Us by Kelly Clarkson because she hangs out with a bunch of government hunted societal outcasts
•Melody (I don't know by who) because she finds her peace in the music even though she was made out to be a villain
•Necessary Evil by Nikki Yanofski I don't know why but she'd like it
For my girl Artimae:
Something Big by Shawn Mendes - She’s usually in over her head and I feel like the song matches her determination and optimism.
Crazy Equals Genius by Panic! At The Disco - Arti is a research botanist who somehow manages to blow up plants during experiments (it’s accidental, she promises).
The Scientist by Coldplay - Artimae is a scientist, and she lives millions of miles away from her best friend, who she desperately wants to meet in person.
