Nameberry is a pretty good website as you can search up meanings for names that you want and generate them as well. Good luck!

I enjoy using names through translations. A lot of my names are english words that pertain to the character in japanese.

I’d say google some names with meanings that describe your characters. If they are major. If not, then google names that involve their culture.

Nameberry is really good! It has multiple kinds of name generators. You can take a "quiz" to find the perfect match or use the random generator (you have to scroll down a bit)
