I have this one character, Alec, who was my first real character and I love him too much. He's the most developed character, and he's also the father of one of my newer characters. Would it be a good idea to keep him in this new story or to keep him secondary? I have so many ways he can be involved, but I don't want him to come across as the lame, meddling dad, ya know?
for your "most developed character" he's really undeveloped, maybe consider Al as a nickname, his age says 18 but the year he was born is 2003, is the year 2021/22 ?. 18 is also a young age to have children, what kind of animal is sir james mick jagger?
Oh, I don't actually have all the character details on here right now… haha. It's mostly in a binder outside the website. I just put down the simplest things for the time being.
He has his own story outside the story I am writing right now. The story I am writing now takes place in 2044. The story now is about his son, not himself.
In this new story, I would like to include him, but not develop him too much. Would it be a bad idea to include him as an important character in this new story?
oh i see, i think it's a good idea to put his dad in the story for a sense of backstory or where he gets his personality traits
