i am having a hard time thinking of unique and cool dystopian/ futuristic names for my characters help plz?

Well, I don't have specific suggestions at the moment, but I do have some different routes you could go.

1. Use last names as first names
2. Just look for uncommon first names in general
3. Look to mythologies and minor deities for ideas and to give subtle nods to ancient mythologies (also they tend to sound cool, so why not?
4. Give pre-existing names some sort of twist, whether it be an alternate spelling, you combining two existing names, coming up with a cool new nickname for them, etc
   Those are just a few suggestions to get you started

Oh thanks! Naming characters is one of the few things I am good at, so I figured I'd try to help.

One thing that helps me is to do an alternate, near/one word changed so it sounds different, or phonetic spelling of a common name. So maybe Joen for Joan, Mart instead of Matt, Cas instead of Cass, Abbey instead of Abby, etc.
