So far I have the name of the best friend Sasha Conners.
What I've found really helps for world building ideas is Pinterest. there are a lot of great pictures that can get imagination flowing. If you don't have Pinterest though it might help to do some research unto ancient civilizations and stuff like that to see how they worked and well didn't work. If you'd like any other advice I'd be happy to help!
My mother has a Pinterest and I'm sure she wouldn't mind if I used it.
Great!
So does anyone have ideas? (I'll go on pintres t later)
Is your world fictional and set in a fictional universe, fictional and set on earth, or realistic fiction and set on earth?
Fictional and set on earth
If it's fictional and set on earth, I'd set a specific continent as Europe just because it has more of a medieval feel. Greece, Rome, and France are especially filled with rich culture. Japan and China also have a lot of history along with vibrant cultures. Egypt would also be kind of cool, but it all boils down to what kind of feeling you're trying to go for. If you're going for a darker mood choose whatever country or continent you think works the best, but I truly suggest doing research and looking into the culture of what you're trying to write about. There are many other countries besides the ones I've listed, but it all boils down to your opinion and I really don't know what you're looking for. It ight help if you posted your character's link.
The thing is its earth but messed up it is in a different universe
Sounds cool! You could always try making things opposite in the world you're making. For example, instead of having it be patriarchy, it could be a matriarchy. You could also have there be people who read about things happening in our universe as a part of fiction. So someone would read about the crusades in the fiction genre because it never really happened as far as they know. I definitely think you have a cool sounding basis.
Thank you I'll think about it
