So I need a character name for a Guardian Angel- preferably unisex because they don't really have a gender. They weren't named by their "creator" for various reasons but the boy the angel is supposed to be guarding wants to give him a name. Any ideas?
Tbh, I've got no ideas, but you can go fishing from here to see if you like anything.
That's kind of a broad category. Could you possibly narrow it down further - like specifying some other names you like, letters the name must include, meanings, etc.
I named my guardian angel character after one of the star signs. I like the connection to the stars, assuming the angel as fallen from a higher plain to earth. I named mine Aries, cause I thought it sounded cool, but Leo, Virgo, Libra, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces were good ones too :)

I love this idea.. might go with my zodiac sign or the boy's who he guardsβ¦

Haha yeah sorry. I'm looking for a name that's special.. one that means companion or friends, or perhaps has to do with the way the Angel looks. He's tall, has golden eyes, golden hair, pale, you get the idea.
@smiley9098
I named my guarded boy Waverly cause of the Waverly manor, a haunted house.
I'm a HUGE horror/myth nerd and it shows π
@Ikinss
That's an amazing idea and I love that name. I would totally do that but my guarded boy is pretty passive and young, so a name that thrilling wouldn't suit him as well. I think I've decided on Timothy for the boy; it's simple and young and may or may not be inspired by Timothee Chalamet :)
Oooo I like that,
Its funny tho cause that's my dad's name, so I will forever picture him as a 45-year-old bald man with glasses ππ
@Ikinss
Oh no LMAO
My Dad's name is Christopher and that's used everywhere, so you can imagine I get middle-aged man vibes every time I hear it baha
I think for the Guardian their name will be Bellamy- "fine friend"
It's also unisex which is a plus
Ooo I like that name, lots of potential for a possible nickname/ history. It makes me think of like a feminine goddess, like a combination of the names Bella and amy (the most wonderful woman in the world).
What forms do they take?
@Ikinss
Forms as in what they look like? If that's what you mean then they look like a very feminine man. Thin, narrow shouldered, pretty, but definitely "male" looking.
Ahh yeah the name matches quite well then.
Mine takes the form of a long, fallen angel looking thing, think like siren head but with slendermans face lol. He has eyes tho, big white and void.
He also can take the form of a dumbass surfer boy with freckles and messy blond hair. Waverly is the only one who can see his true fallen angel form, as he's his guardian angel.
Im curious, is was it given the name at creation for was it dubbed that by someone else?
Dang Waverly is a lot less humanoid in his angel form than mine haha
Bellamy really only has one form which is is angel one, which is extremely human like- they don't even have wings- none of the Guardian Angels do
And to answer your question- Well its a bit of a long back story but Bellamy was created by "God" (I use quotes because he's not the same God in mine or any other religion, just a made up one)
God didn't give him a name to remind him he doesn't have a purpose other than to serve him, but either Timothy or my other Angel will give him the name
Ahh okay, Aries name is #6,865,364,789, but Waverly is a huge space enthusiast, so he was given the name of the constellation instead.
Oh wow ok
Who named them? Themselves or another person or being or what?
Waverly named his guardian angel Aries
