So I just started making this character (from a futuristic space exploration dnd campaign) and would love some help with deciding on what clothing aesthetics to give him? Please please please help! Idk what he should wear! The only thing I have is a cloak with glitter at the bottom. (Oh right, he’s super gay and I sorta want to incorporate that in his clothing choice, and it’s his personal choice not cliche gay stereotyping)
Also, I can’t decide on a personality type between the “aloof constantly unimpressed trope” vs the “Totally emo trope” but I do know that he’s going to be extremely loyal, so if anyone wants to help with that too it’d be great ❤️
I've got a couple of futuristic ideas and styles that you might like.
There's the fun 60s mod/space age style with lots of vibrant colours and geometric shapes. Paco Rabanne and Pierre Cardin are both famous space age 60s designer that you should check out if you are interested in this kind of fashion. Especially his more 'avant garde' looks.

There's atompunk, again very colourful very scifi, very robot, very nuclear power oriented (kind of like the jetsons). Ray punk is also very similar to this style with a focus on rayguns, futuristic tech, comic book scifi, aliens, etc.

There's also the more gritty fashion styles, Cyberpunk and Bio Punk. These styles are very high tech futuristic, robotic, cyborg-type fashion style, very dystopian and edgy.

You could also go for the very modern concept of futuristic fashion, white silver and black or neon highlighted colours, sleek, angular, clean, bizarre shapes, glowing lights, high tech. It can range from matrix style rebel fashion, to extreme, executive, corporation, office, business-type fashion, to completely bizarre, alien, weirdly shaped fashion.
