forum I couldn't find a villains post so I made one

What's your main villain like? Some starter questions: What is their main motivation? Their personality? Their relation to the hero? Feel free to go beyond the suggestions, and show off your bad guys!

critique for her?

She is kinda like an ex-goddess and her name is Darya. Her motivation is trying to become the caretaker of the sea again after she had been exiled previously. She also wants revenge on the other gods and on the new caretaker of the ocean because she is jealous of him. She has kinda the same personality you'd see in any other bad guy; manipulative, deceiving, she tends to act innocent and like she is the good guy (she knows she isn't the kindest person but she doesn't realize how bad she actually is), she really does care for the ocean and everything in it (which is why she's doing everything she does, for her love of water), egotistical and self centered, and huuugeee liar. Well, her relation to the main characters is kind of complicated. So after she was exiled, she was replaced by a new god. She stayed put for a while, but eventually she wanted to become care taker again. So, she started trying to basically destroy the new care taker and injure the others so they'd let her back in. The gods have this connection through this old lady, who illegally sells magic potions in this back alley shack, who has this connection to these guards who work for the king and queen lol. The gods told this old lady who told the guards who then told the king and queen about everything. They managed to open this portal to earth and the old lady picked some random friends, who are the 6 main characters, and they were blessed by the gods so they would have their elemental powers (water manipulation, nature, wind, etc.). Darya wants to destroy all connections the gods have with others and especially the MCs because she knows they have the power to destroy them.
