well, energetic characters aren't obnoxious because they're energetic. energy and obnoxiousness don't come as a package - someone who's energetic is not obnoxious unless their personality is, and obnoxious people aren't necessarily energetic. if they're energetic they might just have boundless energy and never seem to get tired, so you could write them like that, but the closest i can think of an energetic person being obnoxious because of their energy is hyperactive people that might annoy someone with less patience if they never stop talking. if that's what you're worried about, maybe just have them fidget a lot and have them participate in lots of sports or have impressive stamina.
