forum how to write a demigod with making them OP

In one of my WIPs the deuteragonist is a demigod that is essentially the living MacGuffins that is supposed to be guarded by a Cambion boy but how to to make that makes sense, since my knowledge on angels and demons is rusty but I'm pretty sure a demigod can overpower a few Cambions and Nephilim, so are there any weakness demigod have or a way to take him down a peg

Well a demigod is half-god half-human, so find whatever god their godly parent is and expose them to the opposite.

Ex, Godly parent being the goddess of water and lighting them on fire.

This should pose a good weakness. If this does not work, deprive them of what their godly parent is.

Ex, Godly parent is god of peace and making them fight in repetitive battles non-stop.
