Hello good people of Notebook :D

I'm really interested to know what theme song you would use for you OC world theme songs, and I would genuinely like to know what would work for universe! Why did you choose that song? Please Explain?

Rules:

If its alright with you all, can you please tell me your song choices structured like this underneath? I'm sorry, but I most likely wont read it otherwise (._.)

You can tell me as many of your OC worlds as you like, just as long as you don't tell us every single detail about the plot(

OC World: The Disaster Project

Basic Plot: Three, British Teens (Christopher Kelsey, Amelia Schnee and Graham Blythe), all born to wealthy and popular families, have to find and bring about justice to the man (Mr Sullivan) who killed their parents, only… he's turned the police on them. Now on the run, they look for shelter and clues to the killers backstory together, finding anything they can to clear their names….. but his intentions seem almost justified when they find out more about the society that their parents were a part of….

Theme Song: Just Desserts by Marina and the Diamond and Charli XCX

Why this works: I personally think this works best as a theme song, as it alludes to the inevitable revenge and karma, that both sides of the story want. The kids want justice for the murder of their parents deaths, but Mr Sullivan wants revenge for the discrimination and anguish he received while he was a member of their parents secret society. The songs general tune is almost one of childlike fiendishness, which is fits perfectly for the villain's childlike and goofy demeanour. The other thing I like about it, is the line in the chorus "Waking everybody in the neighbourhood, telling everybody that I'm no good!", as its literally what Mr Sullivan is going around and doing, so that the kids can't find a safe place to stay, making them out to be fugitives….

What would be in it as it played:

Before the singing would officially start, I'd have the camera cut to area's in the story that we would see in the future. As this is set in a steam punk Britain, I'd show thing's like a remodelled Big Ben or a Rusty Blimp flying just above the London bridge. This will allow the viewers to get a feel for the universe.

As the first verse would play out, I'd show the parents in a exquisite private library (Dead on the floor with stab wounds), while the kids look down at their corpses, trying to hold back tears. It would then cut to them leaving the library through the back window, just before cops come into the room. They bolt down a street, passing various gear-clad steampunkians and stop in the middle of a alleyway, just to see someone wearing a top hat carrying a bloody knife tucked in his jacket pocket.

Just before the chorus starts, I'd have the main villain Mr Sullivan by a pin board (With his back to the camera), with various photos and notes all lined together with one red rope, pointing to a single sticky note that reads "The Heirloom".

As the chorus plays out, I'd have the kids running down streets getting shot at by police, Sneaking down dark areas with flashlights and hiding from Mr Sullivan in crowds, Just to get the real sense of danger to the audience. None of them are safe, and that is what I want to show.

Thanks for reading, and I can't wait to listen and read to your stories too. Please remember to use the format. Thank you (^▽^)- Sunny

OC World: Dimension Travels

Basic Plot: this follows Hinata Hayashi through three stages of her life: trying and failing to save the people of her doomed homeworld, fighting to restore balance in the multiverse, and trying to find the person who is basically her creator, who caused everything to happen but didn't realize Hinata was actually real.

Theme song: Six Trillion Years and An Overnight Story (English cover) by Jubyphonic

Why This Works: This song fits because Hinata wants to die, but is unable to do so. She is eventually gets over this, however, with the help of her creator.

Thank you very much for sticking with the format - Sunny

OC World: Ocean Eyes

Basic Plot: Humans and mystics once lived together in the open world, but a war caused the extinction of most mystic species. Toka, prince of the merfolk kingdom Orion, is a free-spirited boy and tends to stray from his royal duties. What he wants most, though he feels it may never be possible, is to make friends with a human and for their species to be at peace again. He meets a human boy named Nicholas, who has just as much of a fascination with mystics as Toka does with humans, and with help from close friends and family, the two of them set out to reunite their worlds.

Theme Song: Two Birds by Regina Spektor

Why This Works: The song can be interpreted as a metaphor for a friendship, or even a romantic relation. In the song, the wire is the connection between the two people, but it's also what keeps them from crossing their own boundaries and being together. This is the case with Toka and Nick, since they both want to be friends, and eventually more as the story goes on, but they're more afraid of leaving their comfort zones than they thought. The same dilemma turns up with the humans and remaining mystics - they want to live in peace, but the past between them was rough, and everyone is worried about what might happen if they try to unite again.

What Would Be Seen As It Played:

During the first lines, Toka would be swimming through the ocean, away from Orion and towards the Surface, most likely. It would cut to Nick, sitting at his normal spot at the rocks by the shore and looking out wistfully over the ocean as he does every day. He'd either be taking notes or working on homework.

0:30-0:42 Toka would get to the shore, settle in some rocks (same place where Nick is), and watch the humans at the dock in the distance. 0:43-0:56 Nick, who had zoned out, would see the movement of someone new and go to check it out. They'd see each other, smile, and Nick holds his hand out to introduce himself. (The camera and Nick can't see Toka's tail, and his long hair is hiding his ear-fins, so Nick thinks he's a boy just enjoying the sunny day like he was.)

0:56-1:08 Toka is having a sort-of flashback to his morning, when his close friend/bodyguard was fussing at him for something, then it fades to him at the rocks. Nick is standing and motioning for Toka to follow him out of the water, probably offering to take his new friend somewhere to make him feel better, but Toka declines.
"The sky is overcast," Shot of the rain-cloudy sky, "and I'm sorry." The boys wave goodbye as Toka watches Nick walk away. As soon as Nick turns around, Toka disappears, but Nick looks back at the water as the camera focuses on his confused/worried face.

"I'll believe it all, there's nothing I won't understand." Toka sits in with his father as the Council berates the boy for something, and Toka swims off while they aren't looking.
"I'll believe it all, I won't let go of your hand." Nick is being yelled at by his step-dad, and he runs out of the house with his notebook and pencil.
1:47-156 The view kind of switches between Toka and Nick as they swim and run, then goes black as the music stops.
When it starts again, Toka is sitting on the rocks, his tail above the water, looking up at the night sky.
2:09-2:21 Nick is approaching the rocks, wiping tears from his eyes, and he looks up and sees Toka, the camera focuses on his tail. Toka sees Nick and they realize what's happening, but Toka dives into the water before either can speak.
2:22-2:46 Nick chases after Toka, with a shot of crying Toka swimming away in between. Toka stops for a second; he can't go back home at the moment, but there's nowhere else he knows to go.
Throughout that musical part, Toka is trying to find a place to hide while Nick calls and searches, and he ends up running right into a fishing net.

When the last line starts, Nick is standing there with a worried face. It turns to Toka, who's on land, struggling in the net, crying, and trying not to look at Nick. Nick smiles, slowly approaches, and kneels next to him as the song ends.

Did I do okay. Is that too much? .-.

OC World: New Vellarton

Basic Plot: This story follows 4 characters; Crispin, a former pirate; Kit, the Crown Prince; Caleb, an orphan who works as a chimney sweep; and his older sister Eva. They live in a world where having powers used to be really frowned upon and were hunted down by a group called the Patrol. Although this is no longer the case, people with powers still face a lot of discrimination. The story starts when all four characters are forced to leave their homes when the wrong people find out about their powers. They eventually learn about a town that's hidden in the mountains that's a safe haven for people with powers. The main plot focusses on them trying to get to this town, however they also are quick to learn that the Patrol is still operating in secret and that they are after them.

Theme song: Family-Mother Mother

Why This Works: I feel like this song mostly just really captures the relationship that develops between the four main characters. They all come from wildly different backgrounds, and there's still moments where they drive each other crazy but by the end of things they have a much better appreciation for each other and they become really close. Even Eva and Caleb, who are actually related become a lot closer to each other throughout the story.

OC World: The Five Nations

Basic Plot: In this world there's only ever a maximum of 10 magic users (called Magic Keepers) 2- per nation. The main character, Keyla, gets chosen to be the Magic Keeper for her nation. That's a problem though, because the king of one of the other nations is trying to make his country more powerful and part of that entails controlling the new generation of Magic Keepers. Throughout the story, Keyla is learn how to master her powers so that she can help defend her nation and stop this king from slowly taking over the other four nations.

Theme song: Knights of Cydonia- Muse

Why This Works: This song is about standing up for what you believe in and trying to change things that are going on around you. A lot of that applies not only to Keyla, but to a lot of other characters. There's other characters who want to change things not just on a larger scale, but also on a smaller and more personal scale.

@SpaceCadet_Bongo

@TinyMagicWolf I NOW LOVE THIS SONG SO MUCH! Dude, that fits so well! That last line tho….

♫"Two birds on a wire… One tries to fly away… and the other…."♪

I can feel the tears welling up now ˚‧º·(˚ ˃̣̣̥⌓˂̣̣̥ )‧º·˚ its so beautiful. I know anyone could tell you that that music choice was good but HOT DAMN I COULD PICTURE THAT SO CLEARLY. Your explanation was perfect for what you were trying to achieve, and lets just say that if you want people to get tears in their eyes, the song choice is super effective. I can't get over its joyful majesty!

@Starfast……. Jesus Christ yo… I LOVE how you've used "Mother Mother" to describe a almost family relationship, which I can only assume is what begins to happen as the story progresses.

"You Fuck with Them You Fuck with Me"….. dude… that's awesome!

Knights of Cydonia is also a killer song choice! Its Epic scale is truly something to behold! I like your magic keeping story too, and it fits the fantasy genre really well

Thank you both for sharing your stories :D - Sunny

PinkLemonaid

OC world: Mortal Mind

Basic plot: the main character is the daughter of Hades and Persephone and is the goddess of creativity. Zues didn’t want to deal with another god/goddess so he made Penelope somewhat mortal. She can die but only by head injury. Penelope makes some friends and desires to overthrow Zues and the other Gods and goddess because she believes them evil and that they are selfish. So she seeks to get rid of them. Which is hard because she’s basically fighting the most powerful beings, so she starts gathering help from other beings and such. With the help of her mortal best friends of course.

Theme song: Sinners ( by Lauren Aquilina )

Why this works: Penelope knows that what she is trying to do is probably not the most holy thing and she understands that she is probably going to end up being a villain to most people but she still feels that what she is doing needs to be done. She just wants to help the mortals and everyone who was/ is being mistreated by them. And in doing so she is sinning against the rules of the universe but she knows in her heart and mind that what she is planning on doing needs to be done.

( sorry if that wasn’t any good.. this is a new universe of mine and I’m not sure it’s that good )

@Yamatsu

OC World: Dragon Universe (name pending, need something cooler)

Basic Plot: Yamatsukami is a Half-Dragon, born to Gawain the mountain dragon and Guinevere, the human huntress from the Shiaran Desert. They live in seclusion because they all are either within or the product of a taboo relationship. Gawain and Yama both have magic, which makes them even more feared and hated. The family doesn't do anything until news reaches them about an impending war between humans, dragons, and wyverns due to a lot of overhunting and political nonsense. They decide to venture out into the world and stop the war by gathering every other secluded or excommunicated magic user in the world and threaten to obliterate every side until some form of resolution can be reached. It's not the best strategy, but people only really listen to force.

Theme Song: We Will Fall Together (Streetlight Manifesto)

Why This Works: The whole song is about someone trying to rebel against those who believe that their sins are paid for. The song itself goes against most established religion, especially those who believe that because they subscribe to some higher power, it gives them the authority to do what they want to further their own selfish motives (not the view I necessarily hold, but it works in the context of my world). Yama and his family have been cast out due to their beliefs and family structure, and everyone else they band together with is in a similar situation. They all plan on rising up against those who hurt them and save the world they live in ("Because I'm one of the idiots living in it!"), and while they may not be accepted in the end, they at least know they've had a positive impact on the world.

@SpaceCadet_Bongo

@PinkLemonaid don't unjustly criticise your works! STAHP…….. STAHP IT NOW! I understand that your still figuring out the kinks still to your new world, BUT DON'T SAY THAT IDEA ISN'T GOOD! I for one really like your idea :D.

I really like the story behind Hades and Persephone's daughter, and the weird affliction she has, with the whole mortality to the head thing, but I really LOVE the fact she's going against the immortals views and rules, which makes the song work in this case. On to the song itself, I had a listen to it and the way it all flows like poetry….. AHHHH IT'S SO GOOD!

Also have you seen that one gender-bent version of Hades and Persephone, It's really cool and I think you might enjoy it!

@Yamatsu YAY! DRAGOOONS!! I like your message dude! The fact that they might not be fully accepted into society, even though they want to do what is right, is a awesome concept to ingrain into a story. I just love the hook bit in the song…

"And when we fall we will fall together … No one will catch us so we'll catch ourselves … And when we roam we will roam forever… No one will understand what we meant"

AHHHHHHH SO EPIC. There is a lot of potential you could work around into your story, and I definitely think you should keep up the good work! :)

Thank you for broadening my music taste XD - Sunny

@SpaceCadet_Bongo

Hey Everyone! ( ゚▽゚)/

I just want to say two things that are SUPER important!

  1. Thank you so much to everyone who has shared their stories with me so far. I am admittedly quite jealous of all your good idea's and I love everyone's concepts and song choices

  2. I am suggesting on adding another part to this stories theme song thingy. I was wondering if you guys would like a bit where you could explain the bits that would be going on as the theme song played. So it would be something like….

OC World: The Impasse

Basic Plot: A young girl (Akio) born out of the forbidden love between a respected Chinese man and the daughter of the Japanese Yakuza, is taken to Vietnam by her uncle to train in martial arts after the death of her parents, who died in a car crash staged by her Grandfather. She grows up, determined to avenge her parents deaths, and travels to Hong Kong, where her Yakuza grandfather last was. Now, joining the Hong Kong detective force and armed with a Cloaking device, she is determined to track down her grandfather and put an end to his reign.

Theme song: TENDERONI by Kele Okereke

Why this works: The main story is set in a Futuristic Hong Kong, where everything from robot's to cyber enhancements are all real and natural, so the songs general tone had to sorta match that same Sci-fi feel. TENDERONI I thought worked perfectly because of it's electronic flavour, matching the general surroundings you would see in the story. Even the chorus lyrics sort of match to the ongoing story.

"She said she was even more than this"
"And you were born for greatness"

Overall, its general feeling I think, works pretty well for the "Future Hong Kong" design and aesthetic.

What would be seen as it played:

Through the buildup, I would have scene's of cute Service Robot's being repaired in little dinky street shops, to cyborg looking thugs walking down shady alleyway's carrying tasers. This would be to get an feel for the place the story is set.

At 1:28 to 1:35 I'd have Akio (With her back to the camera) standing on top of a skyscraper building looking on a light up nighttime city, pistol in hand and trench coat blowing gently in the wind, and the second before the chorus starts, she jumps off and cutting to the next scene

1:38 - 2:01 I would have all the action moments in the story. As the chorus is very intense, I feel like scenes like the street motor bike chase and the Katana dueling with her grandfather would be the perfect place to put.

After the chorus, (Where Kele is Enunciating Tenderoni) I'd have a person slowly taking the cigerette out of their mouth, press a button on the side of their head, "glitch" in and out of focus and revel its Akio (Out of cloak form) pointing a pistol at the camera and smirking.

Thank you so much for reading the new suggestion, and I hope you guys liked the story! - Sunny

@SpaceCadet_Bongo

❤♥Thank you so much for that lovely, undeserved compliment!! ╥﹏╥♥❤

I'm am very, very happy you loved my character and the shitty art that came with it! I would very much like it if you could tell me more of your stories and/or add the last section to your Ocean Eyes world. I'd love to hear more from you!

I'll add the new section to my comment :D
Also, shitty? You must have some next level Low Self-Esteem to thinks that is shitty because nah.

@croccin-champagne

OC World: Throne of Lies(Also known as Glarion, Kingdom wise.)

Quick Plot Description(A bad one, since I'm still working things out): A Kingdom on the brink of a civil war, Glarion is known for it's tyrannical government and King. This knowledge is what founded the Rebellion, champions of the people and intent on taking down the King. Their founder is pretty much a mystery to most, spawning rumors and speculation about the type of person that would start something like this.

Valeria Martín is a soldier of the Glarion Army, a nineteen year old girl who's dedicated her entire life to the King and the Kingdom. Well, right up until she brings in Brylee Haines, the leader of the Rebellion. Tasked with guarding her until her upcoming execution, the two get talking, somehow, and Val begins to question some of the things she's led to believe. And then, in the midst of an 'attack' organized by the Rebellion to get Brylee back, Val does the unthinkable. She helps them escape. Now, she's faced with her own growing uncertainties, and the knowledge that things aren't quite right. When she discovers the plans to use her deadly power as a weapon, that serves as the final straw, and she decides to leave.

Theme Song: Hold the Line - Avicii

Why It Works: I've had so many issues finding a song that fits, and this one I stumbled upon on accident. While it's not quite set to a tempo that fits the vibe of the book, the lyrics do. The song is about not giving up, and continuing to fight, something that resonates with Val's story. The Rebellion is fighting against an army, and a King, that have defeated Kingdoms and performed experiments on people with the sole intent of creating unbeatable weapons of mass destruction. But the continue the fight, knowing that's exactly what is needed.

On an even deeper level than surface level Bad V. Good, it aligns itself with Val's struggles with herself. She's a product of this experimentation, and it only managed to amp up her self hatred and guilt over her magic. "Put your white flag down, oh don't you surrender now. No hero's story, there's no blaze of glory." She's spent a good chunk of her life letting others make her decisions and puppet her around, and now she's finally deciding to take things into her own hands. She doesn't consider herself a hero, and is well aware that she functioned as somewhat of a villain(or was at least aligned with a villain), for quite a while, but she's making things as right as she can now.

@Mojack group

OC World: World of Insects (creative, I know)

Quick plot description: Based around ants, with other insects as characters and larger animals as well, a fantasy series taking place mainly from the perspectives of a colony of Black Garden ants. Emphasis on fantasy, since while there is some realism, some things will be changed up, for the story’s sake.

Pharus, the main character of the series is well aware the colony is going through tense times right now. The Yellow Crazy ants and the Fire ants have spoke of an alliance against the BG ants, and while a large colony, the YC and F ants make up a much larger colony together than them. War is coming, for this large world. But war is not the main theme, after all. Politics, survival, fleeing giant bats and birds, oh my!

Of course, we can’t forget the spider..but we’ll leave that for now.

Theme Song: Strike into Hells

Why it works: The music has a rather adventurous theme to it. WOI is all about that - adventure, in a large world (to the ants). I thought it fit because WOI, besides being fantasy, is also about adventure, since to us, maybe a meters worth of area is just a simple walk, but to the ants it would be bigger. Full of danger and adventure.

@bubblegum

OC World: Trying Again (Tryain)

Basic Plot: A large team of everyday teenagers and young adults who happen to have extra abilties given to them, mostly by mistake (i.e side effects of Lily's skin cancer chemotherapy led her to develop a biological, thick, hard, reflective armor akin to crystal.). Think of it a bit like the marvel cinematic universe. Their everyday job is to fight repression - together, they fight against drug abuse, rape, criminal activity, gang activity, abusive family members, abusive relationships, police brutality, etc. etc. They also fight for gay rights, trans rights, other sexuality and gender identity pride, imagination, the children, the abused, the speechless, the defenseless, etc. However, their biggest mission is to together defeat the Wrthow, the universal 'shadow' that resides everywhere at the same time. Think of Wrthow like "it" from A Wrinkle In Time. It sucks all the joy and love out of a person or environment, is unable to have or give happy feelings, and takes away any positive energy and replaces it with a negative. They fight to gather it into one spot and eventually defeat it.

Theme Song: Black Coast - TRNDSTTR (Lucian Remix) …. OR Alan Silvestri's "Portals"

Why this works: The verses and buildup represent this universe's shadow and pain, and then the chorus represents the large boom of energy all my fighting characters give out to fight it and the Wrthow. The second song, because it's the Avengers theme and it's cool af.

@bubblegum

(im making another)
OC World: Middle School MIB

Basic Plot: Two eighth graders, Will and Lillian, are basically the coolest things around. Sunglasses, business blazers, and - since it's sorta comedic - they're armed with nerf guns, lightsabers, master swords, amazon's ninja sticks, etc. They basically fight crime in the most middle school way possible. They show up to the school dance together in formal wear…but also a couple nerf guns, too, just in case.

Theme Song: Missy Elliot - WTF (Where They From)

Why this works: Listen to it, you'll know. It's so…business-crime-fighting-esque and I love it.

@Your_Local_Scrivener

Okay, so I'm bending the rules a teensy bit and adding more songs, but I've got several storylines, so I'll try and put one for each of the storylines
OC World: The Dictate
Basic Plot: Imagine, if you will, a Star Wars-like world removed of its magic. Humanity has taken to the stars, and an empire by the name of the Dictate is everywhere. A group of young adults/adults/teenagers team up to overthrow the government. But that's not who we're focusing on. We're focusing on Coallen Wendsley, the red right hand of the Magistrate (the head leader of the Dictate). The twists and turns of the story are (almost) entirely from his perspective. By the end of the planned series, I'm hoping readers will view him as a completely different person than when he was introduced. Along the way, there are complex relationships on top of complex relationships. I won't go into too much detail here for fear of spoiling too much.
Theme Songs:
Coallen's Transformation Subplot: Man or a Monster by Sam Tinnesz ft. Zayde Wolf
Major Relationships Subplot: Friendly Fire by Nothing More
The Rebellion: The Resistance by Skillet
(I've gotten into more heavy songs since I started writing this book)
Why These Work:
Coallen is more sympathetic than he first appears. I'm trying to give readers the bad in his personality with the good, so that they'll be asking "man or a monster?" by the finale.
Second Subplot: There are a lot of betrayals, mostly in different forms.
Third Subplot: I think this one is relatively self-explanatory, but I have my favorite lines in these songs, so I'm going to take up yet more space…
First Song:
"In your hands there's a touch that can heal/But in those same hands is the power to kill" - Coallen is a good friend, but a ruthless killer
"It's so hard to tell which side you're on" - Coallen's past coming in here
"The tables turn/Now it's time to survive" - Referencing one major betrayal
"You can't take back the damage you've done" - Coallen has killed 20+ people
"Afraid of what you might become" - this refers to his past atrocities and his swearing not to do them again
Second Song:
"I don't care how you see my life, you haven't witnessed it" - Coallen's past
"Convince everyone around that I'm a piece of -" - Ayanna drags Coallen's name in the mud
"Make me a sinner, because you paint the picture" - See above
"So you think it's your place/And you think you're so brave" - Coallen is disdainful of the rebellion for his own reasons
"We're on the same side" - Emera & Coallen
"I'll tell you now what I see/A child's insecurities projecting" - This could go with Coallen's past and Ayanna's too
Third Song:
"I am a soldier, I won't surrender/Faith is like a fire that never burns to embers" This shows how completely devoted Coallen is, and he is, indeed, a soldier.
"I can't sit here quiet/They can take my heart/They can take my breath/When they pry it from my cold dead chest" - This is Lacey (the, ahem, "first" revolutionary) talking, as she does die for her beliefs
"Sleeping in the shadows, could be making history" - The Magistrate to Coallen when he picks him up
"Used to be a slave but now you are a conqueror" - Coallen used to be abused but now he's one of the highest-ranking people in the Dictate
"Magic, static, call me a fanatic" - Coallen is intensely loyal, as prior mentioned, and he does have some abilities that could be interpreted as magical
"This is how we rise up/It's our resistance, you can't resist us" - This could go with the rebellion's we will succeed attitude
(Sorry this is so long! I just love making character playlists and … clearly, it shows too much.)

@DuckiePark

Okay so this is my world for a dating sim I'm making so it might be a little different, Also doing each theme based on each character cause its dating sim sowwy.

OC World: Stuck in the Past

Basic Plot: Freesia is a police officer who quit her dream as a ballet dancer after her Mom dies. She's been working for a few years when it seems like all of the people in her past are witnesses to a crime she's working on. She now has to navigate both the case and her returning feelings with each guy.

Theme Song: Overall anything from Umi
Freesia: UMI - Remember Me
Bruno: UMI - Ordinary
Jarred: UMI - High School
Luca: UMI - Midnight Blues
Zezé: UMI - Friendzone

Why this works:
So Freesia is someone who is very hard working and doesn't really give herself time to love or be loved so when she thinks about the guys that she's liked she wonders if she was really important to them and kinda hopes that they remember her the same was she remembers them. "Cause I'm getting older, Know that I've changed" and "Will you remember the way that you felt when you're next to me". I think those two lines in the song really reflect her feelings.

Now Bruno was the guy who was her main partner when she did ballet. He's three years older than her and had a massive crush on her back in the day. He continued with Ballet and was pretty world famous for it but he's retired now at the age of 30. He's a little stuck on what to do in his life and when he runs into Freesia again he really tries to show off his wealth and various other things. Freesia doesn't really like this behaviour. "I’m in love with the shape of you, And the way you move" and "No need to try to prove me nothing, And maybe, You should leave your pride at the door". Really reflect this.

With Jarred he was Freesia's high school crush but he never knew about it. Jarred's much more of a struggle than the rest. He's kind of the one who taught Freesia how to misbehave and act out after her mother passed on. Just the whole chorus on this song suits Freesia's feeling towards meeting him again. There's not much I can talk about with him that isn't massive spoilers though.

Luca was Freesia's college boyfriend. He's probably the most mature kind and caring of the lot. He's 29 and Freesia always wonders why they broke up. He's another one I can't mention much about but he's probably my favourite character/route. "Gloomy skies,
Sweet goodbyes,
Late at night I think bout you,

And I wonder,
Do you think about me too,
And I wonder,
Do you feel the things I do" I think this probably reflects the best about Freesia's feelings toward Luca.

Finally, we made it to Zezé. He's younger than Freesia by four years and he's super playful and flirty. He training under Freesia and is a massive pain in her side (But don't worry he's also a route lmao.) Freesia gets fed up with his lack of professionalism and the fact that he reminds her of herself. "Listen to me, I’m gonna tell you why this ain’t gonna be, You’re crossing lines that you know you shouldn’t be" and "I, like another guy, Can’t like you on my side". I think these really reflect Freesia's feelings at the start of the game.

@SpaceCadet_Bongo

Good lord, why are everyone's theme song's so GOOD!?!

Seriously, I have been listening to all of these song's for the entire day, and all of them are incredible in how you match them with your corresponding story. IT ALL FITS SO WELL :D

If you guys have anymore, I'd be happy to read them and listen :)

Basic Plot: I have a series of planned stories, but I'll do the plot for one of them. Foxglove Petrol is an Alnaschari Consulting detective stationed at the Overlord King's court. He's a player who's gone through lots of friends-with-benefits relationships, but he's also cold and knows poisons and their symptoms like he knows proper etiquette. When the Overlord King is nearly poisoned by a legendary thief and the King of the True Underworld, Marofiro, he's sent out to capture the villain with the help of a femme fatale by the name of Adeline. Along the way, he accidentally falls for precisely the wrong person and discovers there's more to the underworld than meets the eye.
Songs:
Adeline: "Bombshell Blonde" by Owl City
Foxglove: "We Don't Sleep At Night" by Cash Cash or "I'm Sexy and I Know It" by LMFAO
Marofiro: "My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark/Light Em Up" by Fall Out Boy & "Assassin" by Au/Ra
Why These Work
Adeline is a femme fatale – and a very good one at that. She's never lost the trail of her deceptions, focusing on the money instead of what hearts she might break. Because of her association with Foxglove, she usually goes after the spy/detective types. Think Irene Adler from BBC Sherlock, if Irene continued how she was.
Foxglove is, as I've said before, a player. (I couldn't find a song that spoke of the detective life. Suggestions are welcome.) Also, the first song is kind of a joke as well, as one of his quirks is that he refuses to sleep whenever he's hot on the trail of something. (He doesn't sleep much in this story.)
Marofiro has his finger in every criminal pie. So he does know what quite a few people do in the dark. I'm going to use a few song quotes for him.
"Be careful making wishes in the dark/Never know when they might hit their mark" & "Somewhere another pretty vein just died" - This refers to his criminal activity
"I've got the scars from tomorrow and I wish you could see/That you're the antidote for everything except for me"
For the second song, he's paranoid (somewhat justifiably, as he IS the King of the Underworld)

Oc World: My Symbol in You

Basic Plot: Sophie gets roped into solving supernatural incidents for her four childhood friends while getting in romantic endeavor with the four, meanwhile there is a search for her amulet

Theme Song: Hello Goodbye by Frederic

Why it works:

We should know how to fight not to fight- This refers to Sophie contradictory need for comfort but her longing for adventure

She cries really hard and I'm sad to add more injury by insulting- Refers to Charlie's arc of trying to seek forgiveness from the students he used to bully but his self-loathing and low self-esteem gets in the way

Even if I was to love someone, nobody understands how I feel- Lucas arc with him being an utter fool in love leading to his messy love life and his distant relationship with his dad

Indescribable weather and nobody doesn't reply- Refers to Jax's loneliness and him wrestling with his trauma from his past, oh and the weather during his arc was dreadful

When I take care of someone, someone becomes a sacrifice- Refers to Matthew arc, as he tries to open up past his "perfect dream boy" image while trying not let other done oh and his yandere tendencies

In such a wonderful world, Usual sensation with tears, communication with you Refers to Micheal's (Sophies younger brother) and his wish for being easy to communicate with

What would be in it as it played:

In the first verse {Tatakawanai tatakai-kata o Bokutachi wa shitte iru hazuna ndesu}
Sophie is standing on the roof and she clutches her amulet before we see shots of the heroes and the title

After that Charlie is on the train with multiple version of himself: Alt him, Child him and Tween him

Next, It cut to Lucas loitering while previous versions of him and his lovers pass him by

Next It shows Jax studying at home, he looks outside and sees a happy family playing outside, his vision fogs and branches surround his neck

Next, It shows Matthew goes through his everyday life setting order, helping underclassmen after that he goes home to see a stray cat, he tries to help it but it runs away to the dark

During the chorus
It cuts to a scene of a younger Sophie and Micheal in the aquarium where their father died

After that, the boy's symbol fly from them and the chase after them which leads them to roof Sophie was standing, then it cuts to footage of them as kids with their copenents
