In the main plot point in my 4th arc, the hero and his friends had been guinea pigs for a type of medicine and the MC has to help them, but the problem is that I can't find any good reason why the hero and his friends and Theo were experimented on the first place, Any ideas?

Here are a few that I thought of:

The alien race is dying out, and they believe that the kids have the cure

They're looking for a weakness in the human body to manufacture a biological weapon that can wipe out humanity

Or, they're simply interested in how humans work

The aliens didn't realise that they are young and they thought they were experimenting on full growns

It's part of their culture

Children are more effective

Cruel curiosity of a rogue alien doctor.

Doesn't see this as experiments but as acclimation for something bigger.

Believes that humans are less than those aliens/Treats humans how humans treat animals or bugs.

  • Simply wanting to study the human race as it grows and see how their bodies react to certain experiments.

  • Try to convert the humans into aliens like themselves because they want to take over the planet and are against killing out a bunch of species.

  • Wanting to create a sort of 'super-human' to do their bidding.

  • Maybe humans have something genetic that the aliens think will add to their life span or make them physically stronger or more attractive or something.

  • The aliens could be taking the humans blood and taking tests so they can clone/disguise themselves as humans to travel to earth secretly.

I hope you find an idea that suits your liking :p
