In my story, the gods are characters based off gods from all different types of mythology. My current pantheon includes Neptune, Odin, Kagu-Tsuchi, Mercury, Zeus, Death(Of the four horsemen), Rahh, and Gia. I would love if anyone has any suggestions for others to include.
These gods are the main antagonists for a piece of the story and they need to have good offensive capabilities. I also feel like I'm lacking in the goddess department.
I would include Freya, the Norse goddess of love, sex, beauty, war, and death. She has a chariot pulled by cats, which makes her the best.
Also Sekhmet, the Egyptian goddess of healing, war, death, the desert, and menstruation
I have no advice for what you asked for (lol) but I would make sure you cover the most religions possible for variety and make sure that you aren’t using too-similar gods. (I don’t think you’ve done that yet but, just as an example, don’t use Hephaestus and Vulcan because they are legit different variations of the same concept.)
