I'm having such a difficult time trying to find good guy names and I could really use some help

What kind of names are you looking for? Fantasy/Sci-fi names are going to be a very different set of recommendations than realistic names.

I like to use Nameberry: https://nameberry.com/ They have realllyyy good names that are common and uncommon!

Also, I really like Fantasy name generator http://www.fantasynamegenerators.com/ They make a lot of really unique names for everything!

Im not sure about the genre or setting of your story, but I'll try to help :)
All of my characters are in a realistic setting so this might not apply to fantasy settings :(
What I do when I name is look through baby name books and websites. Once I have a list of names I like, I try each name on my character for a couple of days to see which one feels right. The hardest character to pick a name for was my favorite, and I had a short list of potential names for him. I picked one randomly and wrote some notes about him using that name. I did the same thing but using the different names. In the end, I really got a sense of which name felt the most like him :D
(also a little tip, unless you are specifically basing your character after someone, try not to use names of people or characters you already know. This happened to me, I picked out a last name for my character but it reminded me to much of an already existing character's last name. Every time I wrote the last name, my mind instantly thought of the other character.)
