I'm trying to write this story where one of my main characters (Henry) goes on vacation to Italy with his mom and sister Isabelle, and the place they're staying at is like this location farmhouse run by an older woman and her son, Magnus, my second main character. So far, I've added in that Magnus is an artist and is always covered in paint and connects with nature in ways Henry from Texas can't fathom, and Henry hates the trip so far and just wants the Wifi password. I have a general idea of what I want to happen, but I don't have any little things to add in for them to grow closer. Any ideas?
Oh boy oh boy oh boy.

There's a storm, catching them by surprise and trapping them in some sort of shed for a night. Like, one of them was looking for something when it hit, and the other was outside, and ran to the nearest shelter. They'd get to chat, possibly even cuddle if it was super cold, you know?
-
If there are horses, riding lessons. Henry's mom guilts/bribes him into a few lessons, and Magnus is the one teaching him.
-
Accidentally finding some kind of secret in the attic or something, if that fits the story.
-
Bonding over something they have in common while being forced to chat.
-
Cooking together is pretty self explanatory and amazing.
That's all I can think of rn, let me know if this helps!
No problem! Let me know how it goes!
