I'm writing a comic series. I like to write out the whole story through the dialogue then go back and edit.
Each main character has their own font and color.
I was just wondering if I was the only one.

Nah! Lots of people do that for their characters. I used to do it but it got to be too much work in just a book-like format, but in comics it’s done all the time.

No, I usually just stick with whatever the default font is at. I can see how that would be neat for a comic but for what I'm writing it just seems like unnecessary extra work. Although, when I draw my characters, some of them have unofficial assigned colours for the sketch layer (Andor is purple, Ara is burgundy, Crispin is red, Gerard is green, etc).

I use different text colors for each character in a game I'm making. It helps me/players figure out who is saying what. This is super helpful, since there are 16 characters who could theoretically all be talking at the same time!

My conlang uses special accented characters (dotted letters, accent marks, etc.). Is there any way I can use them in Notebook?

I use a different font for thoughts/narration/speech, but I have too many characters for them to all have different fonts and still be legible. I do use speech bubble accents though, like a bunny themed character having little ears on the speech bubble shape

as for special characters, you might have to copy/paste, or check the tutorials section if someone else knows how.
