So, I didn't see much that needed critiquing, but of course that's just me. So:
1) More about her hair. What does it do in the heat/humidity? Does it frizz up or does it stay the same? Thick or thin? What does it do after she takes a shower, does it curl or stay straight?
2) Who is Ashley?
3) Who are the Shinzen?

Hope that helps, I thought she was very well written and it was very informal.

Ah yes, Ill out some thought into that.
The Shinzen are a family of Queens currently ruling over the galaxy. Ashley is the eldest and is known as the one at the very top of the galaxy.
