I take it Rosaline likes John a lot. It's very evident through what you've written, and it seems to be a very important part of the story you're writing.
You've really fleshed out this character, and I love her!
Is there any special reason her hair is all different colours? Does it have to do with her being royalty?
There could be a little more description in her race about what exactly being a Pylian commissioner means. I can't tell if she is human, or is Pylian is a race in itself.
Also, is there any reason why her favourite food is pasta type stuff?
