I think this is a very interesting character although I do have a question. Why does he stutter? Born with it or an accident? And what exactly puts him on the Autism spectrum?
Thats it for now, it really shows how you put in a lot of thought on this character.

Thanks for your input. the stutter is a result of his autism. anyone who has autism is on the autism spectrum.

Okay, one thing about softer characters is that even though they are soft, you should give them a breaking point. Everyone has limits but he does not seem to be able to stand up. I get that this is pretty realistic sometimes, but you might want to harden him just a tinsy bit. What does he do that's bad? Is he a perpetual liar? Does he hurt people when they hurt him? Make him good and sweet AND, like everyone else, have a darker side.

Thank you so much!! I altered him a little, adding that he has meltdowns when touched and isn't very good with social cues so he hurts others and has trouble caring/knowing when he's hurt them. I'm not sure what else to put that fits his character! Any suggestions?

Hmmm, I think him not knowing social cues is a good idea! But maybe he doesn't accidentally hurt people, he seems too sensitive for that.
Maybe you can have him hurt people purposely. Not sure if you'll like that idea though.

I'm just not sure if purposefully hurting others is in his character at all. of course he has a breaking point, but lashing out at others just isn't something he'd do.

okay then, hmmm…maybe he withdraws himself when people hurt him and ignore them or something.

hey i haven't read through the character yet (i will he seems interresting from the comments!!), but as an autistic person i want to add that we don't often forget things. we remember every small detail and getting over stuff can take a long time and be really hard. A lot of autistic people will withdraw themselves, but will keep angry for a long time (even very small stuff can take a long time). hope that helps so far!
