I'm not too sure about my character's general information-so please criticize her as much as possible!
Give me ideas on how to improve her, or make her more realistic (she's part of a fantasy mini-series I'm going to write, so not too realistic, though)!
IGNORE ALL BLANK FIELDS, BECAUSE I'M NOT SURE YET EITHER!
I like your character, but you could have one of her friends bring out a new side in her that isn't so pessimistic and sad because an interesting character arc is importante!!!!!
Also, it seems her childhood wasn't extremely horrible or anything, and maybe you could add a reason for the way she acts.
Some things I think you could add, in mannerisms especially, is behavioral ticks: does she play with her hair, since it's long? If so, when does she play with it, e.g nervousness, bashfulness, thinking? Just an example. Some other questions: how does she talk, like speech patterns and vocabulary, what does her voice sound like? Does she walk with a skip, or a swagger, or a slouch? Is she jittery, or does she tend to have a relaxed body that doesn't move much unconsciously? Etc.
I actually recently pointed this out to someone else: it's near impossible to "not care" about politics, because everything is political especially now, and it controls a LOT of aspects of your life, like your economic situation or your basic human rights. Teenagers especially are coming into their own politically quite quickly now, but even if your girl is in an AU, she probably has some problems with the government, and if she doesn't, she's probably someone well-off (or sheltered!) and even that has a political label, being on the Right or being Conservative. Something to think about!
Cute bit about the magenta walls! :) Little details like that add more than you think!
The pets bit actually reveals something about her personality, which you could absolutely elaborate on: she doesn't like emotionally investing herself in events that will, 100% eventually, bring her pain, apparently no matter the upsides. This fear of getting hurt can definitely be developed! Try other elements/traits that often come hand-in-hand with this, like "closed-off" or "distrusting" or even "disloyal" (e.g. abandoning the situation before things can take a turn for the worse). Melancholy pessimist is already a good start, but elaborate!!
On a similar note, I have NO IDEA what her moral compass is like, which I think is important to think about: is she more self-serving, or does she put others first? And, not to use memes, haha, but is she lawful, or neutral, or chaotic? Try to establish a predictability (or lack thereof! makes for some fun situations) for her actions.
You're clearly aware that you need to develop her a bit more, but you've got the basics down and Aureole could shape up into a very good character! Good luck, hope this was helpful :)
