Let's just talk character dynamics. I'm just trying to figure mine out so I can improve them (I have one story where I feel I have pretty solid character dynamics, but I have another where the balance of who does what is uncertain, so I'm just trying to work this stuff out). If y'all have any advice on making balanced character interactions, I'd be very grateful.
(The following is the story I have with the best character dynamics.)
Cass: The "leader" of the group; the Chosen One, but a is a dumbass whose only instincts are to fight friendly forces and inflate his ego.
Teus: The closest thing to an actual authoritative power; an empathetic sellsword with a heart of gold who constantly has to try and restrain Cass.
Amaya: A former aristocrat who traded her wealth in for a daring life as a thief on the streets; joined Cass to go on an epic adventure, and is now fed up and is constantly on the verge of stabbing Cass.
