I can see this guy pretty clearly

1 thing: is he Japanese or is he like part Japanese, part something else and happens to have grown up in Japan? Or is he all not Japanese, but grew up in Japan anyway? Basically, why is it that he speaks Japanese? Does he speak English first, and you just mean that he also knows Japanese? I’m confused. (Clearly.)

Also, I like the depth of his flaws.

Not really about your character, but:
this universe of yours: what is it? Is it like this one, but a little different? Is it this one, but a side of it that isn’t widespread knowledge, kinda like PJO/HOO? What’s going on? What are the rules?

oh and by the way he isn't japanese and he speaks english as a first language. as for the world i will try my best but as i said before it is hard to explain. the world is the same as ours but theres is a parallel world that is a world that is more epic fantasy. in that world there is a secret society that protects our world and basically rafe travels between earth and this other world(i don't have a name yet).
