That moment of silence for when you forget a characters name.
These guys are Pokemon OCs. It's the black one's name who I forgot, not the brown one.
Both of these characters were in a role-play (of which I believe I only played one of them)
I believe the people agreed on making the one I played (the one on the left) a dark/fire type to more easily rival Kitsuree's (the one on the right) grass/fairy.
Anyone else have those moments when you forget a character's name?
It seems to happen to me a lot with family members of my characters who are not really present in the story. Like, I don't know the names of Keyla's entire family, even though she's the main character of her story and I really should know that (I remember what her brother used to be named before I revamped the series, but I don't think her parents ever actually had names whoops). Garzlan also has like 5 brothers and I don't remember any of their names. Dallas' mom's name changes like every other week.
On the complete opposite end of the spectrum, I remember the names of both of Andor's younger siblings even though neither of them have even been mentioned yet.
I don't think I've ever forgotten a name of a main/ important character though. Even the ones I don't use anymore I still more or less remember I like to pretend I don't though because most their names were dumb af.
A space explorer. A 6'2" black woman with a high-tech prosthetic utilitool arm (and some other cyberware) and waist-length iridescent cyberlocs (which I am now aware would be impractical). Mostly a first-contact specialist, but also a kickass; may actually have been an intended engineered super-soldier who said "no" to the soldier part (or may just have not discouraged rumors to that end). Inspired by Marti Steussy's First-Inners and the book version of Mel from Nightflyers, among others. (Note that I was about twelve when I came up with her, and am now entirely aware that she sounds like she'd look like her art design was a collaboration between Geneva Bowers, Comfort Love, and Adam Withers.)
It had at least three syllables and started with a T. If I bring her back (read: decide that she's neither too "Mike Sierra" nor too similar to other OCs), I will probably go with "Talula."
