so i'm trying to write a story of two characters (male & female) and they're supposed to fall in love but in the beginning of the story but, they're not very fond of each other. how do i get them to start to like each other?

Maybe something drives them together; like interests or maybe magic if that's an option. Someone could also try to get them to come to their senses to be fond of one another.
i would suggest starting off with something simple, one of them saves the others life, or gets them a present for their birthday. Something to make them realize that the other person might not be so bad, and that it might be possible to for them get along after all.

I agree, that seems pretty good as well.
Or you know, they could have a late night motorcycle accident and cry together over their wrecked motorcycles in the hospital and then they each give each other a new motorcycle and fall in love from there
Enmity is usually born out of difference. e.g. one character is very honest and law abiding and the other is morally grey, one is very careful and precise and the other prefers to wing it, etc. etc. Assuming that your characters follow this, a great way to push them together is to show that they're not as different as they thought. perhaps they both share an interest, or maybe they have similar values. this kind of revelation tends to happen during some sort of trial or traumatising event as well.
I would highly suggest that you build at least a small friendship between them. Maybe have them work together on some small things and have them realize the other person isn't so bad. Once they're at least comfortable around each other, then other feelings can start to be incorporated
You'll want to show that, despite the problems they face with each other, that in the end they still have each other's backs in the end as friends. Put them in a lot of situations where they're forced to interact and weave in character development into their interactions. Have them gradually start having less animosity towards each other as their interactions continue and do your best to develop that into a full blown romance.
