Help I'm naming characters and ran out of cool names :0 And I don't mean like fantasy names, just cool-sounding normal names like "Vincent" or "Valerie" or "Duke" or "Yvonne"

When you said Vincent and Valerie, I thought of names from the 1890's, like Victor or James. There's also Nora, Elizabeth, Margaret (I love this name, you could have Margo or Midge for short), Aiyana or Yvette- there's so many out there!
Oooh thank you! I especially love Margo and Yvette
Can someone give me an answer which is better Alex Clark or Alex Smith (full name is alexander)
It depends. If Alex is a prominent character, I'd go with Alex Clark, but if it's a passing character, I'd go with Alex Smith.
I think Alex Clark sounds better, only because Smith is a very over used name. However, if you're like me and like to use names with meanings that fit your character, Clark means "scribe" or "secretary" whereas Smith means "smite," "strike," and "one who works with metal." Also, here are a couple of my favorite surnames for Alex if you're looking for ideas: Alex Abram, Alex Carlyle, Alex Easton, and Alex Wakefield. Hope I helped!
Try http://www.fantasynamegenerators.com/ it has real life names, names for different types of fantasy characters, names from different places, names from different time periods. You could aslo combine 2 names or change the spelling of a name. Aslo try translating a word that describes your character to another language (such as latin) it could make a good name.
I have a google doc with some cool/unique names on it that i could share with you if you would like?
I'd love that :0
I need a normal but catchy main character girl's name. Any ideas? I was thinking either Katie Virgo, Evelyn Hull, or Laura Jones
I don’t think Virgo is a believable last name, but I love the sound of Evelyn Hull. It also kind of depends on the origin and personality of the character.
