@standingondesks Know-it-all
I have this idea where "nagas" are based on different snake species and the human half is based on where their snake part is from. Whether that's a good idea is a discussion for another day lol but one of them is based on the south-east Asian green vine snake… only I previously mixed it up with the Latin American green vine snake (that's what you get from vernacular names!) and now I need to re-name him with a name from this area.
He's a shy boy with a traumatic past (there's a war going on, his family was killed… again, how to handle that is a discussion for another day) but trying to be good.
After a quick search on behindthename I'm torn between these (no guarantees on the correct meanings, I'm just taking it from the site). Both are apparently Vietnamese.
Giang - an androgynous name that means "river." I love androgynous names and I really like the sound of this one, but meaning-wise it's a bit nondescript.
Hào - "brave, heroic." That would be a bit funny since he's such a shy, non-confrontational bean, but could also give him something to try and live up to (especially since his name was of course given by his family).
Which one do you think fits best? Do you have other ideas? Help please.
