One of my characters is currently serving a vampire as a butler, before this he was very involved in his church (think pastor) and was well aware of this vampire's existence . What could be some good reasons for him to willingly (or maybe unwilling) join this vampire? I'm kind of stuck on this and any help would be appreciated…
Maybe the church could be a factor to his decision since it's one of his passions? Did something tragically happen to the church in which the vampire has some connections to the incident? Was the man forced/threatened to serve this vampire as a way to help save the church? Or did he believe that becoming a vampire's butler would help benefit him and his church in some way? (Looking at their relationship with one another could also help. Do they consider each other as friends? Do they simply respect each other like the usual master/servant relationship? Or do they just not get along?)
These are just a few suggestions, but I hope they give you some ideas ^^;
@lotus Thank you so much! I will try to flesh out their relationship further
