I have five main characters. Two I would consider developed enough to write for, and I love them very much. But the other three aren't as detailed as I want them to be. Any suggestions for good ways to develop my characters better?

Backstories. It always helps when they find a gigantic thing that can be linked back to another character, thus prompting them to tell a story or be useful in some way. For example:
My character, Pandora, is a goat witch. Everyone's always wondered how she grew those horns, but never talked to her much, since she looked scary. Then the team travels to the land of Venus, and they see the venusian ceremonies of getting horns. This prompts Pandora to tell her whole story and guide them through the land of veuns.
Thank you! I'll start thinking of ways that I can give them more of a background.
No problem! Nice to meet you.
I also recommend looking up character questionnares.
Maybe also try putting them in character chats or roleplays? I've learned a lot about my characters from throwing them in with someone else's.
