I've done this before, though it's way back on page seventeen or sixteen now. It's where I take one or two of my characters and basically become them. Then anyone can ask them absolutely anything, and they will answer in character. Last time I did this with Lyzy and Endel, my two MCs of a book I'm supposed to be writing. (whoops…) This time, I'm going to use two side characters to the same book that I've recently stumbled upon the backstories of while thinking. This chat will help me develop and get to know my characters better. I will now describe them, so you know who you are talking to.

Sarriel (S-are-ree-el) is half siren, half human. Her voice is smooth, alto, and melodic. She has silky, black hair that reaches her shoulders. Upon first glance, she looks human, then you notice the teal-green scales that follow the edges of her face up to fin shaped ears. There are matching scales running up her arms and down the outer side of each leg. Her teeth are slightly pointed, and she has shining teal-green eyes to match her scales.
Vladimir (Vil-add-a-mere) is half demon, half human. His voice has an ever so slightly gravel to it but is mostly smooth, making it seem low in pitch. He has short, messy, auburn hair to go with the very light (yet still easily defined) red tint to his skin. His teeth are much more pointed than Sarriel's, and his eyes are a bright amber with a caramel brown around the edges. He has two short (maybe two and a half inch long), black horns just above his temples; a set of red bat wings, which he can summon and dismiss from his back as he pleases but keeps hidden a majority of the time; and a skinny tail (at least two foot long) that ends with an upside down heart shape.

And, that's them. The will have the mindset of about halfway through the book. (So, they have no idea of anything beyond that.) As I said, ask literally anything.

Sarriel: "Alright now, don't be shy~. I won't bite~." She says with a small hum afterwards, smirking

Vladimir: "That's because you prefer stabbing or strangling…" he mumbles with a roll of his eyes

Sarriel: her smirk drops as she glares at him slightly

(is slightly stumped because I had not answered this question as an author before, so this is new to me)

Vladimir: "Well~… It's kind of stupid, but since I got to Earth I've really enjoyed flowers. So, my room back at the stronghold is basically a green room with a day and night spell cast in it."

Sarriel: She chuckles "You've become a real softie, huh Vlady?"

Vladimir: "Tch." rolls his eyes "Anyways, my favorite is a bleeding heart plant, which Sarriel got for me actually. I don't entirely know why I like it so much. Maybe it's something to do with the symbolism of a bleeding heart. I'm unsure."

Sarriel: she hums "Meanwhile, I don't really collect anything physical~. It's more of a scavenger hunt, where I check things off a list. So, I wouldn't count it as a collection~."

Vladimir: "You are anything but a scavenger." he narrows his eyes at her

Sarriel: she simply hums and smirks in response

Sarriel: She yawns "This is kind of boring~."

Vladimir: he sighs "Stop whining about it. You'll make us seem needy for attention."

Sarriel: she chuckles "When am I not~?"

Vladimir: he rolls his eyes

Sarriel: "No, but in all seriousness I'm just bored~. As is our author."

Vladimir: "Hey, watch it with the fourth wall! It's a touchy subject and not something our characters are supposed to be able to break." he glares at her now

Sarriel: looks a bit down cast at the question "Define friends~…"

Vladimir: also a bit sad at the question "Er- I used to have a couple really close friends, but… I lost them a few weeks before I escaped the hell world. I mean, people around the stronghold can be nice, but other than that…"

Sarriel: "I actually consider Elyzabeth, Endel, and Vlady as friends. Though, I'm positive they don't feel the same~."

Vladimir: "I've currently got us pinned down as frenemies…"

Sarriel: she shrugs "Hhm~, I suppose it's a start."

Sarriel: she looks surprised at the request "Are you sure~ about that request?"

Vladimir: "Well, I guess we could try. I'll make sure Sarriel doesn't get super flirt and kill-y."

Sarriel: she both glares at him and doesn't look too sure about complying with the request

Sarriel: "Sarriel. I'm entranced; I assure you." She says her usual greeting but rolls her eyes as well

How do you cope with the fact you're a hybrid? Are you accepted by other people or they throw rocks at you when they see you and say you're not welcome around?

Mio

Both: "Yes." they answer Asher's question in unison

Vladimir: "As for how we're treated…" he rubs at the back of his neck "I mean, no one seems to care about the human part of us at the stronghold."

Sarriel: "We may need to explain~. First of all, the stronghold is, well, a huge, underground fortress. Supposedly it was built to house some sort of portal or something, but that's not important." she waves a hand as if to wave that bit off "It's a safe place where any and all species, races, or creatures are welcome. Well~, except pure humans. There's a language bubble that makes it to where everyone can understand each other, but that doesn't work for full humans."

Vladimir: he nods "And, sometimes if a hybrid is born half human, the bubble's effect fizzles out for them every once in a while."

Sarriel: "But, we weren't born half human~. There's a small~… Quirk to long distance~…" she lets out a small laugh "Banishing spells."

Vladimir: "Sarriel was banned from the sea kingdom Anemone for the murder of a few mermen. That's practically a whole world away from the beach she woke up on. On a completely different note, I became sick and disgusted by the hell world. Sarriel, on one of her little hunts, somehow found a way there and found me. Then she helped me walk right up the king himself, landing me banished to Earth."

Sarriel: she sighs "Long story short~, people are more concerned by the non human half of us. Me being a siren, which are known for seducing and killing men." she smirks "And, Vlady being half demon~. Need I say more on that?" she bumps shoulders with Vladimir, earning an eye roll from him

Vladimir: "But, the stronghold is a safe place. So, no one seems worried with us being there. I'm sure that if I went back to the hell world, if that was even possible, that I'd be killed for being half human. But, I don't ever leave the stronghold really."

Sarriel: "Meanwhile, I'd be feared as a killer if I went back. They wouldn't care of me being half human."

Vladimir: "As for coping with the fact, it's true it sucks a bit. Some of my demon abilities are gone, and I am weaker. Then I remember that it's much better here than hell."

Sarriel: "As for me, being banished actually freed~ me from the water, so I have no complaints."

Vladimir: he looks unsure about the second half of her statement
