Who would you want to play your characters if it came down to it? Any actors in mind? Who and why ? Big names or unknown faces?
Here's some of mine, I have a lot of trouble with this, so it's like 2.
Joel Fry as Basril Argun: he's literally the inspiration for this guy, and I find him so interesting and attractive.
Charlie Heaton as Rothos Liwier: he's got that sad boi look, and he's almost hot, just like I want Rothos to be. His performance in Stranger Things reminds me a lot of Rothos and his body language is always on point.
Shazad Latif as Tavim Vaare: I love him in Penny Dreadful and Toast of London, and if you look at them together they really show his range as an actor. He can do silly and stupid or sad and desperate both very well.

Christopher Lloyd is the biggest name of my main cast. I just love him as a person and an actor–I had the pleasure to meet him once when he came to a convention in my town and he's honestly so sweet and kind. (It was when dabbing was "in" and someone asked him to do it and he did, it was great. xD) With all his smile lines and his unique voice, he would be the perfect actor for my OC Dr. Oswald.
Josh Brener I picked after watching Netflix's "What Men Want". THat one was kind of just instant. I saw his face and his attitude and was SCREAMING. THAT'S SIMON, THAT'S SIMON, THAT'S SIMONN
For my character Walter Avery, it's harder to pick because he's a teenager and all the child actors are growing up so fast. Purely for physical likeness, I found Pavel Melenchuk, but I don't know anything about him as an actor really. But more for the acting style, either Louis Hynes or Liam Atkin (who played Klaus Baudelaire in the two different A Series of Unfortunate Events makes)

The trouble is: "Pacific Islander guy the size and approximate build of a professional strongman, with a boyishly handsome face" would be about the easiest to cast out of the main characters in my current work.
I've been trying to figure out who would play my characters and I've had such a hard time finding actors who look like my characters. So far, all I've managed to figure out is that Oscar Isaac could play Ara. There's like a 10+ year age gap but idk they look similar enough that it could probably work anyways.

I feel like finding the right age range is one of the biggest struggles with casting characters.. But also when you have a specific idea about how you want people to look, finding any actor always feels like "settling". and that is the eternal curse :"(((

Allison: Paula Taylor or Urassaya Sperbund: Idk, I think it would be fitting. Alternatively, Megan Fox
Hellyn: Scarlett Johansson; HAVE YOU SEEN HER?? She would fit Hellyn so well!!

Ok I feel like Holly could be played by Natalie Dormer and Jackie could be played by Annie Murphy. I'd be ok with Holly getting race bent if it meant she got to be played by Stephanie Beatriz though.
Still have no idea who my other characters would be. I've been kinda thinking that Henry Cavill could maybe be Milo but idk I'm not sold on it. Idk how some of you have found entire casts for your stories.
