You can be as tough on me as you'd like, as long as it's constructive. I've put a lot of effort into him, and I need to know that he's up to par.

Hi! Overall, I think Niko is a great well- rounded character however there are some things I'd like to point out.
A stubborn strategist is great, however 'recklessness' doesn't really fit with this. In general, reckless would be charging in without a thought and is the opposite of what a strategist does. Maybe 'risk-taker' would be a better choice of words? As in he'll go through with his strategy no matter what the risks are which could be both a flaw yet a good point in him.
Another thing, apathetic is when someone has no feelings towards a situation, it's not when someone hides his emotions. Maybe saying your character keeps a good poker face instead since it seems that your character does act on emotions i.e his sense of justice, protecting his sister, his nervous habit. I personally don't think apathetic works well with the other traits given.
Other than that, your effort can be seen! It seems that you've put a lot of thought into this character and that you really know what you want him to be. though, one thing I would consider adding is how he interacts with other people/ how he acts to each friend, who he trusts most who he doesn't and small stuff like that. It can really bring life into a character!
I hope this will help you, sorry if I was a bit harsh!
Okay, thank you! I'll try to touch up those areas a little more, and I'll consider putting in those interactions (although they take place in the actual story, so I'm not sure). You weren't too harsh at all! This is the kind of critiquing I need.
Tbh, I was actually slightly worried he might be something of a Mary Sue, so this was actually kind of reassuring.
