I was born female, and, as such, raised female. So I'm absolutely not at all sure if there are certain things that are specific to a guy's thought process or actions, that are entirely a dude thing and not at all something girls/women do/think. Anyone got any examples, or tips? It's greatly appreciated!

If you're really looking to get a lot of opinions and advice, there should be plenty of lengthy discussions if you search the words "writing male/boy /guy". But the general gist of it is to just make a well balanced, in-depth character as you would do with any other. Truth be told I doubt anyone could accurately tell you the difference since guys are generally having the same problem with us women.
If you're really unsure though, I would personally advice to just start writing and then ask feedback from male friends/ relatives for certain bits. You'll find most of it is pretty accurate if you put actual thought in creating the character and if it's something really weird they can gently point it out to you. You'll also develop a better feel for it over time if you do that.
