Basic idea of this story: Four children went through a traumatic experience and broke the law in the process (Long story, sorry). Instead of punishing any of them they all had their memories wiped. And it's our main character's job to make sure they don't remember ANYTHING.
But the four kids end up finding a cryptic file depicting what happened. But the don't know who did what because they are purposefully not called by their first names.
So this is my problem. What am I calling them?
I wanted to call them by their last name, but I have a set of siblings and they even have the same first initials (Atticus and Adelaide Steward) (But I am willing to change their names of I have too)
Does anyone have any ideas of creative things to call them?
Thank you!

I don't know if you mean like conversation or files but if conversation:
The blond one, the tall one, the loud one, the annoying one…
mc.shoutyface, miss drama….

In files:
serial numbers of the case

@WaffleWizard

That could work. Another idea you've now given me is to refer to everyone by their last names and maybe use that to describe the siblings. One could be preferred to as the younger Steward sibling. Or the dark haired one.
Thank you!

Perhaps just initials?
Or an abbreviation like: At. Steward and Ad. Steward.
