So there's this program called VRoid Studio that allows you to turn your characters into anime-style 3D models, I discovered it yesterday and have been playing around with it for a while-
It's pretty simple to learn, I watched two short tutorials and already had everything figured out.
It is, however, quite time-consuming. I've been working on my baby Aquila for the past couple hours, and I haven't even started on the outfit yet. but then again I've also spent 90% of this time just playing different animations on repeat and giggling with happy every time because oh my gosh my precious lil baby is dancing that's so hecking cute I am such a proud mother- cries

…So yeah
Here's the link:

(Despite how it seems on the website you don't actually need a pen tablet, a mouse/trackpad will work just fine, the only reason you'd want a tablet is if you want to edit the textures a bunch/make completely custom clothing in an outside program, which could still be done with a computer mouse and some patience.)

I know a lot of you guys really want to see what your characters would look like without having to commission someone or learn a bunch of complicated art stuff, so I figured I'd share this with you beans, just in case it happens to be exactly what you were looking for

This tool is awesome, I can't believe I've forgotten about it. It's super helpful for getting a visual on your character. I used to use it on a previous project (whoops never finished it) to help me with (anime) anatomy and consistency when drawing a character a lot.
