What if there was a zombie apocalypse? And what if, when you got bitten, you were infected with a different disease? One that gave you a power, but also made you have to share a body with an annoying spirit who wants to take over? That's basically what happens in this roleplay. Jump right in if you want to.
Lyndi shivered and hugged herself, hearing the screams outside. She hoped that none would come in here, in the closet where she and her cousin hid.
Sounds of metal bars falling can be heard coming from outside. The outside world went quiet for a little while until the silence was broken by a loud bang on the door. “Help! Anybody in there?!” A voice can be heard shouting from outside, terrified and shaking.
(I'm assuming I'm the cousin?)
(No. I mean, you can be if you want to. Sorry.)
Luca hugged his cousin. "Hey, Lyn. You'll be okay."
Susan was at the brink of tears. She had seen so many people get infected that she no longer trusted anyone, even her parents. The fact that she was still alive astonished her, especially since she was bitten. But she hadn't shown signs of infection, not yet at least. She cowered under the kitchen sink, listening to the chaos outside.
The door was thrown open, and Lyndi screamed. Luca jumped in front of her as the zombie charged in.
Chase heard a scream coming from Lyndi and Luca's house. He ran in and attacked the zombie with the kitchen knife he had on him at all times. Once he could tell the zombie was done for he went to see if Lyndi and Luca were ok.
The zombie bit down onto Luca's arm and Lyndi screamed again.
"Crap," Chase yelled running over to the Zombie finishing it off. He tried calming Luca. "Ok, just breath and let me look at it," Chase said calmly. He started examining Luca's arm.
"Who are you?" Lyndi asked, breathing hard. "He's not contaminated, is he?"
"No, he's ok for now, and I'm Chase who are you," Chase said investigating Luca's bite.
"I'm Lyndi, and this is my cousin Luca. Have you had experience with this before?"
"Yup, my family was all contaminated in different ways. I know what different bites look like,"
Lyndi winced. "Are they all… okay?"
"Some are some are not," Chase said finishing the examination of Luca's bite.
"What do you mean?" Lyndi asked. She was feeling comfortable around this guy, for some reason. "Have you been bitten?"
"No, I'm ok. Depending on the bite it effects you differently," Chase told Lyndi nodding.
"Huh," Luca said, examining the bite. "So I could really actually turn to a zombie soon?" He joked, then saw his cousin's look of horror.
"No, something else will…..happen,"
Luca tilted his head. "What do you mean, 'something else?'"
"How old are you," Chase asked ignoring the question.
