"But…if it's a plant, how would our names be in it?" She asked, flicking her tail. "I don't get it. Maybe we could ask Ravenheart?"
(I don't remember where Ciel, Junkie, and Moose are. Where'd they go again?)

Stormkit hummed, "I mean, that doesn't make sense… how would we put out names in a plant? maybe its a rock? and we can put out claw marks on it?" he chuckled, "that sounds so cool…" he smiled, "and yes, we should go ask Ravenheart. he might know! he's a grown-up. so, why wouldn't he know?"
"Or maybe it's a uh, meta…meta….um." Mistkit furrowed her brow in concentration as she tried to remember the word. "What was it?"
(Poor baby can't say metaphor.)

"what were you trying to say?" Mistkit looked over at her brother, "thats what im trying to figure out mouse-brain." she mewed, thinking again. Stormkit thought as well, "well it starts with meta… uh…metastar? no that sounds like a leaders name….' he looked over at Mistkit who was still looking down at her paws deep in thought.

The she-kit padded back inside the cave and turned to Ravenheart. "What's a book?" She asked, curling her tail around her paws.
Stormkit blinked realizing that Mistkit had headed back into the cave. Getting up to his paws, he followed Mistkit back into the cave, where he saw Ravenheart speaking quietly with Mistkit, Mistkit looked over and gave a calm smile and looked back down at Ravenheart. Stormkit sat down next to his sister.
"So, Mistkit, did you find out what a book is?"
"I was just about to say," Ravenheart said. "It's a thing twolegs have. It's like a bunch of leaves piled up and stuck to each other and there is a story inside."
Stormkit let out a 'ooh,' he stood up about to yell something about how he wanted to make one but he looked over to see a sleeping Vixenkit and Flamekit. "u-uh, I wanna make one! those sound really cool" he whispered loud enough for Ravenheart and Mistkit to hear.
yoo ZFox! how are you! :)) ))
(I'm okay, how are you? Sorry for the late response, it was raining, my bus was late and I couldn't fit under the shelter at the bus stop :/)
(all of those things add up to a very damp ZFox)
(And now- I have to wait for a train on an unsheltered platform and become damp ZFox squared)

Vixenkit woke up suddenly and stood up. Noticing Flamekit but not seeing Ravenheart, Mistkit or Stormkit, she went outside to find them. "What are you talking about?" She mumbled.
Flamekit jolted up. He was now awake. He turned around and sniffed. He didn't see anyone, but he smelled their senses. He walked out and tilted his head, confused to see Ravenheart with the other kits. "What'cha talking about?" The kit asked, stretching.
Stormkit looked over, "oh! hey you guys! Ravenheart was just telling Mistkit and I what a book was!" Vixenkit blinked, "why'd you need to know what a book is? what even is a book?" Stormkit quickly explained what a book was and they let out a large yawn, Flamekit flicked his ear. "Why'd you need to know what a twoleg object was?" Stormkit opened his maw to respond when Mistkit clamped his jaw shut with her tail. "i'll tell you guys in the morning!" she mewed, "right now, it's dark!" Stormkit furrowed his brows. its dark already? but I thought he just–
The small tom-kit looked up at the sky to see if it was actually turning dark. his eye widened as he stared at the dark blues, and purples, that flooded the entire horizon as far as the eye could see! they sky seemed to push down the bright afternoon sun so the moon could rise up and control the night. Clouds turned into a darker grey as they moved across the ever-changing atmosphere. Stormkit's dark blue gaze softened as he relaxed, seeming hypnotized and in a trance at the beauty of the sky, the burning ball of light: stars, began to appear out of nowhere, flicking in the sky, shining brightly. Mistkit removed her tail from around his maw and followed where Stormkit was staring off.
"It looks breathtaking…" he whispered, sitting down. He saw Mistkit in the corner of his eye sit down beside him and nod in response.
