Springheart took in all the expressions of her clanmates, flicking her ear she made her way back towards Swiftstar, "come on, I want you to get treated." Springheart felt the pain in her chest fade as a new feeling of warmth spread through her, shuffling closer to her newly found mate. Swiftstar gave a smile, "your worrying for me like a kit…" the leader gave a teasing mew, Springheart huffed, "and? so what if I am?" I need to care about you…" the queen looked away, flicking her violet gaze towards her paws.

Swiftstar realised something and her breath caught in her throat. "Springheart…" She whined, "I won't be able to patrol anymore until this is better." She bit her lip to stop herself from sobbing.

Springheart looked up, "its okay…. we can just cuddle in your den or something." the queen mewed, pressing her nose to Swiftstars own nose. "come on, you need rest, you can barely walk on your own…"

Shadowclaw turned around and followed the scent. He ignored the others and followed it to a house. No… He thought, biting his lip. They were with a kittypet. A human walked up to him and said "Cute." The human sat on the floor. He hissed and walked back. "Don't be scared kitty…" The human said, Grabbing Shadowclaw.

"I mean, sure but what about your kits?" Swiftstar murmured. She added quietly so the others wouldn't hear, "Was it him?"

Springheart relaxed, "the kits…. I……I know I should look for them….. but…. its just…. I need to trust them, they need to trust me…."

Springheart looked over at Swiftstar, "and, yes… yes it was him…" the queen sighed, "lets just get home…Its getting cold, its almost midnight and well, you need to be treat, like ive said the past few times…" the queen chuckled out the last few words.

The human took Shadowclaw into the house. He put Shadowclaw in a cage and smiled. Shadowclaw hissed. He was trying to escape. The human laughed and said, "I know I have a collar in here somewhere…" The human turned around and found a dark gray colored collar with a bell on it. The human let him out but grabbed him before he could run. He put it on Shadowclaw."How about…I name you Shadow?" The human took him to the backyard. it was fenced up. Once the human let go he ran towards the gate and went head first. He failed. He realized that there was also another Kittypet there. But he couldn't find it. He eventually went into a tiny 'house'. He sighed. Im not getting out any time soon… He let out a sad meow and closed his eyes.

Rather dreamily, Swiftstar said, "Where did Shadowclaw go?" then stopped walking to cough blood onto the ground.

Springheart stared with wide eyes, "Swiftstar! dear StarClan! are you alright?" the she-cat mewed, worry and concern filled her voice. with a moment of silence, with Swiftstar gasping for air and then coughing right after, Springheart looked over her shoulder, "oh no…. Shadowclaw…."
