(Cool!)
As the sky was peaceful and the birds were perched in the swaying trees, singing, all was good, despite the silent aggression in this group of "people." Nothing of that sort mattered in the end as a rumble sounded from the sky, which sounded like loud thunder, resulting with the birds fleeing. Remember what I said about the peaceful sky? That puts into play that this was not, in fact, normal. As I was saying, a flaming object fell from above, sinking straight through the clouds before landing in the plains not too far from here, sprouting smoke.
Thorne: -looks towards the smoke- The Ed?
James: Ooh, that could be Rhea! -she leaps from the chair and peers towards the smoke- Actually, no. She wouldn't do that. Maybe it's Lucifer.
Cloven: Looks at the sky
Meteor? It’s common in the Wastelands for space junk or satellites to fall down sometimes..although, this isn’t the Wastelands, and I don’t know if this is Earth, either.
She flexes one of her metallic hands, unsheathing the small but sharp ‘claws’ lying within.
Thorne: -looks at Cloven- Should we go investigate?
James: Oh, yes, do that. Just leave me here. I won't leave, I promise.
"H-hey…" Isobel says, making a feeble attempt at conversation. Grace, her best friend was standing at her side, and they had just walked in. Squeezing her hand in encouragement, she introduced herself. "Um… I'm Grace, and this is Isobel…" Grace managed. Even she was having trouble trying to make conversation.
Thorne: -looks at the newcomers- Oh, hello, new beings! I'm Thorne, the god of deceit. They/them pronouns, please. -they look back at the column of smoke- Do you happen to know what that is?
James: Grace and Isobel. I'm James, a helpless captive of this terrible god. -she points at Thorne- Please save me!
((I'm sorry guys, I can literally only RP if y'all investigate, my plan won't work otherwise XD))
Grace is the first to speak. "Hey… unfortunately I've never seen anything like that before. Are you sure that's not something called 'smoke'?" Isobel just says nothing. She's unsure of what to say, and since Grace has already said something, she doesn't feel like she needs to say something.
Thorne: Okay. Well, I'm going to go see what it is. Wish me luck. -they summon a pale gold sword and walk towards the smoke- Oh, and James? Stay there.
James: Fine. -she crosses her arms and pouts. Thorne arrives at the site and peers through the smoke-
Isobel finally finds the words she's wanted to speak for a while. "Well, how are we supposed to save you from a god? We don't even know what Thorne is the god of," she says pointedly.
James: They're the god of deceit. -she smiles wickedly- And right now, I'm not the one who needs saving. -she pulls a long knife from a sheath by her side and points the blade at them- Do either of you have any portal magic?
Danny: Pulls out his phone in confusion. "Huh, I didn't know my phone could even work here. My friend Kira, the Fairy Blood just texted me. Might as well just bring her here." Danny waves his Scythe in the air and black smoke collects. When it disappears, a very confused girl holding her phone appears. "Hey, Kira, what's up?"
Kira: "Wha- You could've just texted me back! I did not need to be randomly teleported to wherever here is." She looks around and notices all of the strange-looking beings and freaks out. "Danny! Where exactly is here!"
James: -looks away from Isobel and Grace, but still points the blade at them- Danny! And a new person. -she narrows her eyes at Kira- Fairy Blood? Honestly, I think Rhea would have a heart attack here.
Small green flames were scattered around on the blackened grass that surrounded the red orb which hummed ominously, it was halfway in the ground, yellow glass was on the front of it, cracked, one good hit and it would've shattered it. The humming turned into a sputter as it gave out another puff of smoke and left only the sound of fire. From what seen through the glass, there didn't seem to be much, only an odd, striped, eye-shaped stone and… wait, no, someone was in there, at the back of the space, most of their body covered from view by their own, curly, aquamarine and pink hair.
"Hah. Not likely," Grace responded, pulling out her own dagger. »Grace has psychic powers, what's next in James' future? like what's she gonna do?«
Thorne: Hello? -they walk closer to the orb- Is… is there someone there? Do you need help?
[James is probably going to throw a knife at Grace]
James: No portal magic? Pity. -she pulls a smaller knife from another sheath and inspects it-
They didn't respond, but, there was a strong feeling that they were still alive, it was hard to explain why, they didn't exactly seem alive, but yet, something just told you.
Cloven: Watches with mild interest and amusement, unsheathing her other hand
Stepping on Isobel's foot lightly, Grace walked slowly towards James, her dagger up in defense, ready to deflect any attacks, or perhaps, catch a knife thrown at her. Taking note of the silent message, Isobel rummaged in her bag for a certain something. Appearing to have found what she was looking for, she stepped up slightly behind Grace.
Thorne: Uhh… -they get close enough to the orb to touch it- I'm just going to break this, okay? -they smash the pommel of the sword into the yellow glass, shattering it. - Hey! Being! Wake up!
James: What is that you got there, Isobel? Hopefully, it's a healing potion -she launches the smaller knife at Grace-
Kira: “What’s wrong with Fairy Blood huh? This Fairy Blood can give you vivid nightmares if she wants to.” She pulls out a bag of galaxy like powder and takes a handful of it, getting ready to throw.
Danny: “Whoa there Kira, I’m sure you could.” * He waves his Scythe quickly and the bag disappears in smoke.*
Grace swiftly dodged the knife and caught the handle of the knife she knew would be thrown at her in one move. "Well thank you for the knife," she purred.
At the sound of the thick glass breaking and falling on the floor, they moved a little before pushing their hair out of their face. When they opened their eyes, they instantly looked at the weird stone and quickly grabbed it before addressing Thorne, who they stared up at with their lavender eyes, before holding the stone as close as they could, as if Thorne would come down and snatch it from them, wearily putting their other hand to their left shoulder.
