Aiden looks confused. "That is a Lost Sigil, though. At least, I could have sworn it was…" he murmurs, the form of it shifting before his eyes. He stares in wonder, then draws it as it had originally appeared to his eyes. "Never before have I seen such a mark… what is it?"
“My world calls it the Mark of Nadia…if you’re marked with it, it means you’re destined for something great…” Auretta smiles weakly. “There is one problem, though…” she sighs.
Nori leans in. “What? What’s the problem?”
Lukas sits down as well
“It attracts monsters in my world pretty easily,” Auretta laughs sheepishly.
Aiden grins, then takes off his shirt, turning and pointing out a particular mark on his spine. "This mark here, inked in the void? This is my mark of destiny. It tells any who see it that I am much more powerful than I seem."
Lukas blushes hard, staring
Nori continues comforting Auretta. “Listen, there’s nothing you me and Val can’t get through. You never have to feel scared when you’re with us.” He grins
Aiden notices Lukas's staring and grins, turning back around. The front of his chest has a single rune, right over his heart: the Sigil of his family line, the Rentes. "You like what you see?" he asks Lukas.
Val, meanwhile, walks over to Auretta, and wraps her in a hug. "Yeah, Nori's right."
Lukas blushes more, looking at his hands. “Uh… I mean, those tattoos are really cool. V-very nice.”
Nori accepts the hug, then grins at Lukas. “Yeah, Luke. You should get one”
Aiden laughs. "It's very easy to fluster you people." he says, walking over to Lukas and looking him in the eyes. "Yeah, you really should. They don't even cost anything or hurt."
(And as you've seen, Ítäki now is a seperate entity from Valerie! Interestingly enough, all it took was enough anger and bam! Instant huge ass dragon! And she's cahnged a lot as well. Y'all should be able to look up and see them from here!)
Nori laughs. “Me? Flustered?? I think I have the opposite effect.”
Lukas pointedly ignores Nori, smiling slightly. “Yeah, I suppose I’ll get one.” He shuffles, thinking for a moment. “Wh-what should I get? And where?”
Aiden grins. "Hummingbird. And a sun."
Lukas scratches the back of his neck, smiling. “I like that. Alright. Well uh…” he rolls up his sleeves, then turns around, trying to figure out where they should go
Aiden smiles. "Just leave placement to me." he says, walking up and turning Lukas's left arm so that the pale sin of his forearm was showing. There went a black and gold star. On Lukas's right shoulder went the hummingbird, sipping nectar from a flower. He finishes both quickly, then admires his handiwork. "All done."
Lukas chuckles, staring at them. “Oh…. Oh these are absolutely beautiful…” he smiles up at Aiden, keeping his sleeves rolled up. “Thank you!” He looks over at Nori, excitedly pointing to them. “Look, Nor!”
Nori laughs, giving him thumbs up
"Thank you." Aiden grins, his fingers lingering on Lukas's bare skin for a moment.
Lukas blushes again, looking at where Aiden’s skin met with his. His wings start to flit a bit
Nori watches, grinning as he continues to rub Auretta’s back
Somewhere, Lynn snorts. “God… my children are deprived of love”
Aiden notices the reaction to his touch and starts to blush himself. "Ummm… anyways." he says, taking his fingers away from Lukas's bare skin. He starts to trace a design on his own chest, a peregrine falcon taking flight. He finishes it quickly, the throws in a sunset and a few clouds as well.
Lukas holds his hands behind his back, watching Aiden draw the design. “Wow…” he laughs. “There’s a peregrine falcon hybrid. No one likes him though. He kind of….” He stares off. “Let’s just say I don’t like him either.”
Aiden looks up, his gaze unfocused for a second. He rapidly blinks, then grins. "I'm sorry, I missed what you said…" he chuckles.
Lukas shrugs, folding his arms. “Oh nothing.” He says quickly.
Nori rolls his eyes
Aiden snorts. "It was important nough to be said, so it should be important enough to repeat, right?"
Lukas sighs. “There was a peregrine falcon hybrid. In short, he tried to murder me. So…” he shrugs. “But it’s a nice bird.”
"Ah…" Aiden sighs. "That is fair enough."
He turns away, and for a brief, fraction of a second his form seems to flicker.
Lukas smiles for a second, then watches as Aiden flickers. “Is something wrong?”
