Heyyyyyy let’s start this
(Hello, is this still a thing?)
(Okay, here goes!)
One minute, Teon was walking along a road, minding his own business. The next thing he knew, he was lying on his back, absolutely soaked. Teon sat up and looked around. He was sitting on a beach in the shallows. Teon ran a hand through his shoulder-length black hair, finding it soaked as well. He looked around, hoping to find a sign of life.
After a few minutes, Lillian opened her eyes and struggled to her feet letting out a weak cough, her long raven black hair fell in a tangled mop over her face, So she pushed it out of the way and looked around.
Finding nothing in the vicinity, Teon clambered to his feet and started walking down the beach. He rounded a bend and spotted someone with black hair standing on the beach. "Hey!" Teon called, stumbling towards them. "Where am I?" As he got closer, he noticed that they were as wet as he was, which either meant that people went swimming in their clothes here, or they were like him. Which would mean they had no idea where they were either. Fantastic.
Lillian glanced at the guy behind her and turned, trying to brush her hair out with her fingers, “If I’m correct, then I believe we’re on an island called Ashenhald…”
So they did know where Teon was! "Ashenhald? Is that a good thing or a bad thing?" Teon asked, his dark blue eyes narrowing. "Is there a way off, or are we stuck?"
“Bad thing and we are stuck,” Lillian replies scanning her surroundings, “Who are you?” She asked, her deep purple eyes narrowing as she rested her gaze on him.
"Teon Winter," Teon said casually. "Who are you, and how did you get here?" He brushed a bit of sand from his jacket and grimaced. "Can I trust you?"
“Lillian Hunter, I woke up on the bottom of the ocean and no, I am not a threat unless you are.
"Okay, then. Nice to meet you, Lillian." Teon gives her a small smile. "I assure you, I'm not a threat to you either. Unless you try and kill me."
“Hmm then we should be good,” Lillian responded, “But that doesn’t mean other things will try and kill us.”
As she said that, several softly buzzing colorful creatures that appeared to be small balls of fluff at the height of six inches including the one inch sprout sticking up from their head; came flying from the forest and curiously looking around. Lillian took one look at them and smiled, “Ah, just Ploffles, they’re native almost everywhere in this world.”
"So they're not going to try and kill us?" Teon asked, staring suspiciously at the creatures. "Wait, how do you know all of this? Are you from around here?"
“No they won’t kill us, they’re harmless.” Lillian answered, “And not really I actually live millions of miles away from here.”
"Okay." Teon nodded. "Do you know about anything else here that might actually kill us?"
"Not really, not much is known about Ashenhald…" Lillian replied.
"Great." Teon threw his hands on the air. "Well, I'm just going to assume everything's gonna kill me." He frowned. "Do you have any weapons with you? You know, in case we have to defend ourselves."
Lillian swiftly revealed double pistols and twirled them both, "I do, though I'm not super sure how good the ammo is after being in the water…I do have a dagger as well though."
"Oh, good." Teon nodded. "I have a few more knives we could use, although most of them are throwing knives." He pulled one out from his boot and grins. "Are you any good with throwing knives?"
“Yes, I’m quite good with most weapons except for a bow, not a strong point for me,” Lillian replied, sticking the guns back in their holsters and pulling out a sharp crystal dagger.
"I see. I didn't bring a bow, so you have nothing to worry about." Teon grinned. "I'm good with any sort of projectile weapon, just not… hand-to-hand or anything like that." He shrugged. "I try, but it's not a strong point."
