((OOC: Nice))
A clang, several snarls resonating. He whipped around, pivoting swiftly to the side as the great beast came swerving downwards. One fluid movement and his blade came to meet fur and flesh. Though he didn't have much time to revel in his kill, for another of the heavily built animals came barreling from the undergrowth.
He growled, the flashes seen of the male as he attacked; he appeared human, except he was nearly 8ft in height. A pair of dark colored horns curved along his head, curling back like a rams before jutting forward. Dark colored scaled plates covered the bridge of his nose, along his jawline, and going partially down his neck. From the base of his spine, a tail trailed behind, swerving one way, then the other, following his movements. Seeming almost to have draconic features…
"This was suppose to…"
He paused a moment, lifting the buckler attached to his arm to take the brunt attack of a heavy paw. The male hopped back, then with a heavy swing, tossed that buckler with immense force. The flying disc swirled forward, coming into contact with the attacking bear's head, making it instantly stop in its tracks. The beast toppled over, stunned from the attack. Without even waiting to give it a chance, he ran forward, delivering a final blow to its skull.
The horned man walked over, picking up his buckler, returning it to its place upon his back. He stood there several moments, allowing himself to catch his breath. His huffs were calming down, closing his eyes. Though, as he did, he barely noticed as frost started to form. The temperature seemed to even drop, leaves wilting from the sudden cold. As he slowly opened his eyes again, he stepped back with a jerk.
Now before him stood a great, white bear. The animal curled its lips back, showing fangs that seemed to be crystals, same with the claws. Spikes of ice seemed to line its shoulders, the beast even towering over him.
The male took a step back, arm reaching back for his shield, the other taking hold of his blade. He curled his lips back, revealing his own fangs to the bear. His stance moved, going into an almost powerful force, ready to take whatever brunt was tossed at it.
"You gotta be friggen kidding me, this wasn't part of the damn contract!"
The frost covered bear only gave a roar, charging forward. Guess there was no other choice here, time to do what he did best, keep the beast's attention, dish out damage, and try to remember to heal himself with potions…yea, that was something he needed to remember to do more often when doing solo missions…
(o.o)
A middle-aged woman emerges from the thick of the woods in a bright yellow burst. Her long brown hair pools down to her hips where two SIG P226s rested on each side. Looking at her hands, where the small remainder of the yellow pulse she came from, the woman smiled faintly, wrinkles creasing under her eyes.
"I guess he still looks after me after all." The female puts her hand in her pocket for a second, remembering something distant before returning to the situation, smirking a bit at the bear.
"Thame's Ice Bear, huh? Really could have named it better, am I right?" The New York accent from the female was faint, hinting to where she called home, when really she had called lots of places home once. She couldn't imajine her life without Him revealing a sliver of the universe's secrets.
"Let's get rid of the beastie, aight? Don't want you people to die now." Unholstering the Sauer pistols, the woman smirked as she fired twice at the beasts left side, only one of the shots piercing through the bear's icy fur. A small trickle of silver blood oozed out.
"You there! Draconian! Aim for its underbelly! I'll keep it distracted!" She closed her eyes and a surge of golden energy bursted from the woman once again, but this was different from before. It seemed like the energy of gold was swirling around her, like she was the eye of a golden hurricane.
C'mon… where are you? No… No… No… Ah yes! There! In her head and the bear's, the newcomer held part of the bear's conscious using an ability she was able to finally master after 32 years. The bear in the forest let out a howl of both rage and pain, more of the silver blood pooling out of the beast's mouth, as it continued to charge to the hunter who killed their family.
(cries at talented people)
(Oh lol, I just spent some time typing it. It took ~10 minutes I think? And it's not insanely good :/)
(I think it is)
( S h u s h Y o u A r e J u s t A s A m a z i n g )
(Plus that was my starter. Depending on how it all goes, I might (but hopefully not!) lose ideas for typing so it's fine)
(Ajehairbsirhfu)
(Melanie was an old character of mine that was forgotten a while ago, so I brought her back, except older and more experienced. She was in a Dr. Who rp with Sparkie, who sadly deleted his account on Notebook ;-;)
( @Iwilladoptyou what was that for? You're good at writing!)
(.-. sure)
(Bro I will come to your house and hug you and I won't let go until you like your writing! If you don't like it, then practice! That's also what Notebook is for! :)
(And the positive community helps :P)
((OOC: It takes time for one to manage well written posts. Best thing to do is write what you are most comfortable writing, and simply let it go from there))
(Lol I don't hate my writing just wish it was longer-)
(Then go into detail! What does the room smell like? Why use a word like 'hate' when you can use 'their throat irked at the the suggestion, their blood boiling at the thought.' A big thing about writing is elaborating and using uncommon words. I try to write a paragraph of a story per day (whether it be just a short story or something else is up to you. It doesn't have to be the same thing every day!), even if it's before I go to bed!)
(lol thanks so much apologise for the late response i was busy-)
((OOC: Meanwhile, I'm trying to refrain from writing so much, as this is a character chat…but, can't help myself when it comes to fight scenes. Would've loved to add more to this, perhaps another time))
A burst of yellow and someone had joined in on the scene. A woman had suddenly appeared, the sound of gunshots followed by an enraged roar.
He himself had been readying for the brunt of an attack, but instead the beast had turned towards the woman that peppered its side. He paused for a moment, unsure of what to take of this. Being a tank class, least in the Guild, he was suppose to be the one drawing an enemy's attention…normally. Others were to just dish out as much damage as they could while he got a few hits in before buffing himself up again. Being a Dragonkin of his kind had its perks; especially when you were of an earth kind. The dragons of more the more earthen element well known for being built like great, living siege units. Though, being a dragonkin, he didn't have the full benefit. Still, it was enough to make him a force to be reckoned with.
The bear had started to turn, all eyes on the woman that had attacked. Its jaws opened, a breath of frost billowing forth. Without a second thought, the draconic male suddenly leapt over the beast, coming to land in front of the wall of spikes of pure ice spreading across the ground and towards the woman. He moved in a fluid movement, slamming his shield into the earth. Almost instantly stone rose around, creating a shield before him and the woman.
He shot a glare back at her, the force of ice spikes from the icy bear slamming into his own shield of stone and metal. His lips curled up again, "I appreciate the hints m'lady, but I'm more built to take the brunt of this things attack than you."
The male honestly had no idea what or who this new woman was, or just what she was capable of doing. To the draconic man, this newcomer was a ranged user, a mage even. As such, it was his duty to keep her and anyone else from suffering the brunt of an enemy's attack. Even if there were several hostile combatants joining the fray, he was the one to draw all the attention.
His eyes shot back forward, the stone wall crumbling as the spikes of ice had also fell. The bear roared again, charging forward. As it did, the icy spikes on its shoulder seemed to grow in number, larger, and glistening sharp. The draconic man released an annoyed 'tsk'.
"We're playing that way are we? Well, two can play that game."
As the bear rampaged forward towards the pair, the draconic male moved, surging forward as well. From his own shoulders, the armor plating became covered with powerful stone. A curve on either shoulder jutted forth, stone creating spiraling weapons. Exposed parts of skin seemed to ripple, scales replacing human skin, hardening even further around the armor covering his body. Then add the layer of stones gathering, he truly was becoming an embodiment of the earth itself, a near impassable boulder speeding downwards, crushing anything in its path.
Stone, ice, claws, and metal, it all met with a loud sound that made the earth tremble beneath the giant combatants. Ice and stone grazed one another, interlocking to create a mass of dragon and bear.
He would continue his struggle, letting anyone else to step in and deliver the deathblow upon the beast. The male could only hope that whoever did, hurried the hell up, he could only remain in this deathly embrace for so long, before either the bear, or himself broke. Either way, he would not go unscathed from this fight, but he'd rather be bloody and bruised, than a completely lifeless corpse…
(Might wait for someone else to respond before I do anything)
(I have school so I will be back on later)
(Bump?)
(i honestly dont know how to respond)
(Can I join?)
(Oh wow I forgot about this chat whoops. What was happening again? Y'all out here busting out full length essays. Also @Divine-Irish-Potato of course you can)
(YAY! IMMA USE Vozreal again)
(Where are we?)
((OOC: recap, not much happened really. I just tossed in my dragonkin fighting an elemental bear, Siberse's character jumped in. So fight happening between them. Feel free to read back a page to get a better understanding))
(Where can I come in!)
