A grotesque sound akin to a hounds strangled bark came falling out of Hex's mouth followed by a gasping wheeze. She's doubled over in laughter at the sound of such a pretentious name. HAAAAAAAA! What kind of name is that!? That sounds like a joke! She continues to laugh at the name without noticing that her eye reforms into a shape that most certainly does not resemble and eye. She gathers herself and looks to Chaos expectantly. And what was your full name in life, lizard? About as long and ridiculous I presume?
"Yes, sadly. My full name used to be, William Abraham Joshua Jonathan Robin The First. can you see why I hated my name? its longer than King's and just, why? So when I died and then reincarnated, they gave me three names to choose from and I chose Chaos."
Hex's laughter deforms further away from sounding like actual laughter. She cackles into the ground with obvious glee at hearing such farfetched names. She looks up, laughter still spilling from her mouth. Di- did your parents even love you two!? Such titles will only beckon judgment and condemnation! She continues to laugh and fails to notice that black dendritic spines creep from between the fingers that conceal her eye.
"well, it's customary for royals to have long names in my world. I feel bad for my friend Spring. Her original name was Elizabeth Bernadette Hazel Rentas. She's my best friend, Kingsley's worst enemy."
(I see what you did there)
Negative looked at her sniper she had stunned Adalinda with. She didn't kill her, only knocked her out. "WHy are we talking about names? Names define people. That is why I chose my name." She looked at Chaos and then Hex, along to the dapper dressed man. "So what are we trying to accomplish here? Are we on a quest?"
Hex looks to Negative and scoffs. We have not considered any adventure of any kind as of now. So far it has simply been a series of events. She pauses momentarily and then turns to Chaos. Can you witness what your brother sees when you are hidden away in his body? If so- She smiles wide and wicked. -did you see him eat my arm? Was it not priceless? She snickers to herself at the gruesome memory.
Chaos paused, thinking. "is that why that random chopped of limb was in his stomach? No, I don't see what he sees but i did see the arm. I named him Bones. We played cards while he was there. I wonder what he's doin now." he chuckled at the thought of King freaking out that Bones was still alive. "he was fun. He tried killing me three times. I burned a few times to. He's surprisingly good at Rock, Paper, Scissors."
"Im confused." Negative said steeping forward. "Chaos, your brother ate Hex's arm? And you were royal, then died and came back all the sudden? As a dragon?" Negative took off her mask to reveal bright red lips that were stating that she was a demon. "I was royal myself, once."
"ooooh, fancy. What type of position where you? Queen or Princess?" he asked, his wings opening up slightly to make him look a bit bigger.
Hex's face was frozen in a 8D position as she registers what Chaos had said. Her face slowly fell into an almost concerned expression as she looks down on the ground. I… believe this is the first case where one of my severed parts retained some manner of sentience… She continues to look down at the ground, deep in thought about the possibility of having her own limbs as minions until Negative spoke up. It was a while ago. She waves her hand nonchalantly. His brother was here first and he felt hungry so I gave him my arm to eat. I thought it would kill him, but sadly no. He lived. Somehow. And my arm has apparently taken up residence inside of King, so that is something I have to process at the moment. She observes Negative's lips, seeing them blood red. Hex mostly assumes that she too was just finished goring a deer inside out and continues pondering the possibility of a Limb Army.
"I was the Princess of the Fire relm. It was in Hell, not like I cared. I love Hell. All the," She turned to Chaos. "chaos. The chaos was the best part." My fake family was never there, so I was left to rule the kingdom all by myself. No body loved me down there. I am, part demon part human. And Hex, that is one very interesting characteristic in your life." She looked at Hex's facial expression. She walked over to Chaos. "You Chaos, remind me of my happy days. Not like there were any, but the better ones. You seem so powerful, like you have great potential. I like you, yknow. You have a really good power." She ran a hand down him. "I can sense it."
"Yare yare daze…" He said, smoking his cigar
Chaos shivered when a cold hand ran down his scales. His wings flapped open more and his tail lashed from side to side violently. He forced down a growl, he did not like that. "P-Princess of the Fire Realm? h-how charming." He said the last part through gritted teeth. If this girl didn't take a hand off, honestly..he didn't know what he would do. Just the way she slowly dragged her hand down his down his scales, mm, no. he wasn't having it. "and um, thanks? I guess I do have a good….power." he slowly stepped to the side. He wasn't sure if he was intimidated or uncomfortable. maybe both?
Hex brings herself out of her thoughts and tilts her head at Negative's words. So there is another among them that resides in that infernal realm. That makes two demons, a ghost dragon prince, a witch, and whatever the other one was. How interesting… She looks to Vozreal and sees that he has produced yet another horrific-smelling cigar. She puts her right claw over her nose while the other still covers her blown out eye and snarls. Another one? How many of those damned things do you have?
"It's not a blunt. It's a cigar."
Hex glares at him out the corner of her eye. Same difference. She looks to Chaos and senses his uncomfortable aura as he interacts with Negative. Half-demon, that is a dragon. Use your feeble brain and understand that stroking him like a hound will only ensure your demise. She looks Chaos up and down. If he has the nerve. She looks down at Vozreal. What the hell even is the difference between a blunt and a cigar?
"One has weed, the other doesn't."
Hex leans her head down to Vozreal cigar and gives an almost tentative sniff of the fumes. She leans back with disgust. It smells just as vile. If the other one casts you into a fabricated reality, what does this one do?
Hex groans in annoyance at the answer. What a pointless tool. But do you as you wish. I am not your parent. She puts her left claw down, revealing that her left eye has completely regenerated into a perfect copy of her- SIKE! It's actually a menagerie of miniscule legs and arms sticking out and slowly thrashing as they stretch out of her eye socket. She looks around the room in confusion as she notices that her eyesight is lopsided for some reason. Why does everything look tilted?
Chaos looks over and lets out a "oh fuck!" as he flicked his tail. "uh, Hex, darling, um I don't think that's an eye you regenerated…." walking over he bends down and touches on of the arms, the arm grabs his own and starts tugging violently. "OH SHIT! OW?" he rips away from the mess Hex had "made" with a sigh. "that was kinda scary-" he pauses, "Wait…" looking down he sees a detached limp wriggling around trying to let go. "HOLY HELL!" in a quick second Chaos lights the arm on fire, watches as it crisps like KFC chicken, and then chomps down on it without hesitation.
What? Was all Hex had time to say when Chaos came over to her and plucked one of the tiny arms from her eye, making her cringe from the sensation of having a piece of her eye picked out. Ack! What in the? She takes her claw and touches the hands in her eye socket that reach out to her finger. They gently stroke and grasp at her digits in an odd manner almost similar to affection. She growls in frustration. With this shit again, fucking hell. She takes her sharp fingers and carves the limbs from her face in one swift strike. A concave opening is left where she had clawed her eye out. She takes both her claws up to her eye socket and begins to work away on remolding her eye. This shit cannot keep happening. This is getting old. She looks at Chaos devour one of the arms with her one remaining eye and lets out a single sharp laugh. Beware, lizard. The very curses infecting that could kill you. Or make you sick at the very least. Nonetheless, I am sure that child's arm was appetizing.
