"I'm Sam. Nice to meet you." She decided it might be easier to talk to them if she was also on the ground, so she climbed down nimbly. "What brings you guys here, Runner and Trebatia?" she asked, testing out their names.

"Just call me Tea if my name's too tricky. I'm from Rome." She said. "And I'm here on summer break. Finally no more math!"

"Ah man, if you'd heard some of the stories about my geometry teacher…."

"My teacher announced a pop quiz the week that I wasn't paying attention," she mumbled. Trained assassin? Check. Queen at dodgeball? Check. Science and literature wiz? Check. A good student in math? N/A.

"I'm just….wandering. Don't really have a home on thi-" he damn near said dimension, but held his tongue.

"Oh, there was only one week you didn't pay attention?" Sam joked. "I've got a friend who….well it doesn't matter."

She cocked her head, the obedient husky mimicking the gesture.
